I think it's safe to say that AA made great in the Morrow-League swap. This guy has plus stuff and has had 5 consecutive quality starts, this one being a gem against a quality offense like the Cards nonetheless.

Looks like I missed a Morrow gem because of draft night. Loving the low BBs.

At least we didn't get swept.

4 solid starters out of 5 is pretty darn good. If only they can get their avg and obp up then we'd be having more fun.

its clear that molina is the reason for morrow success..shows that having a great calling behind the plate can change a lot...

Morrow is looking like a real stud.

This organization has been pretty blessed with pitching talent for a while now and seems to have a good chance to remain so going forward. This is especially frustrating that we play in the AL East where you basically have to have a perfect team to compete. Feels like such a waste.

I didn't see all of it, but from what I did see, Morrow was dominant tonight, it may have been his best career start so far.

8 IP, 5 H, 0 ER, 1 BB, 8 K, 13 GB, 4 FB.

Don't forget when he dominated the best offense in baseball in NYY a few weeks ago. It was a fleecing at the time, and it looks WAY better now.

In Morrow's last 13 starts: 3.60 ERA, 75 IP, 63 H, 36 BB, 84 K, 2 HR, .666 OOPS

Imagine where he could have been by now if the Mariners actually developed him as a starter. Then again, the herky jerky handling of him was what lead to the trade in the first place, so I'll live with it. Hopefully Morrow can stay healthy and build on this.

I'd love to see a video of that again. Truly a testament to Morrow's shotgun stuff!

Brandon Morrow is on pace for a 4 WAR season even if he gets shutdown early, Seattle better hope Johermyn Chavez becomes an all star everyday right fielder if they want to have any hope of winning the trade. Morrow is also 9th in the AL in FIP, 2nd in the league in k/9, he's mediocre looking ERA has been more of an indication of terrible luck than anything, he's been amazing looking at his whole body of work.
