I have a feeling that backup plan of Otis' sounds more likely. :)

 True, true...

I'm trying to think of a player to compare him to and I'm drawing a blank.

Maybe an unbathed, homeless man's Marion.

I actually like the Posey comparison. A poor man's Posey.

I don't doubt it.

I think minny is going to regret ever hiring Kahn, he just blew two drafts in a row big time.

Sacto with the ROY two years in a row?

I expet Turner to be the rook of the year and for Iggy to be this year's Kevin Martin...traded mid year when it becomes obvious...cant work together. If the Knicks strike out with big time players...look for Philly to take Curry and Chandler for him, and try to get the Knicks to eat something extra. Or hold out for Gallo.

I could see all of that for sure.

Wthout question...the hardest pick the Nets have had to make in the Thorn era.

I still think Favors could be part of a sign and trade...love the pick, but not going to fall in love with him on the Nets until we see what happens with Lebron, Amare, Bosh, et al.

I'm fine with the Favors pick regardless of what happens with Cousins. There were concerns with both players, revisionist historians will downplay that if one of them busts but there wasn't so much a "right" pick between the two as far as I'm concerned.

What could possibly be going through Willie Warren's mind right now? Kid was a top 10 pick last year and STILL hasn't been picked. I'd like to see Phoenix pick him and see how he does in their system.

As a Jayhawk, I'm rooting for Sherron Collins to get drafted soon.

I completely forgot about him. As I've said for like the 20th time too, no Solomon Alabi yet? Come on NBA...

Why can't we flash some of that Proky cash and pick up a mid 40s pick and get either Alabi or Sherron Collins?

I am reading from behind here. So answering a bunch at a time.

I only listed my mock through 10. Didnt spend any time thinking about the late picks with any real agressiveness. I have to say, I had the top 10 dead on...except flip Udoh and Aminu 6/8.

I even nailed Gordon to Utah. In fact I said weeks ago....no way Utah doesnt take a white guy who looks like Hayward especially with the buzz he had. Specifcally I said...that Utah who always has more white guys on their team (wonder why that is) than any team in the NBA just about every single season wont resist taking a white guy in a draft that had Hayward, Babbit and Aldrich all projected near their pick.

Now those of you that know me...know I have made this observation many times over the years. Before anyone who doesnt know me says it...no...I am not saying Utah would let a vastly better black ball player go by them. And obviously they have had some great black players.
I am just saying that...there is clearly a behind the scenes demographic target for personnel with this franchise. In a league where 80% of its players are black...Utah always seems to be closer to 50/50.

And I am simly saying...this year was a no brainer to have them keep the quota in tow.

Oh and I'm warming up more and more to Damion James at least. He could be the intangibles guy in this team and really be a nice leader for our team.

I actually like the Posey comparison. A poor man's Posey.

Posey is a natural small forward/swing man.
James is more of a tweener, a power forward with small forward skills in a small forward's body, he's also the better natural rebounder.
I don't know, maybe I'm sleeping on him a little.
I've watched him play a lot over the years. I've always thought of him as solid.
Like I said, don't hate him as a player, just don't like him in the sense of what we paid for him with the direction this team is going and with a few of the guys that were left on board.
Meh.

Reminds me of the situation with John Gilchrist a few years back.
