Honestly that deal is so dreadful for the Hornets, I can't believe that one is true.

Dude you had like four names with this pick... :D

I was about to say the same thing.

Paul George at 10?!!!!!

Granger is gone!

Doesnt it seem like Indy gets their fair share of steals in the draft? By trade, draft or buying picks...Bayless, Granger...and I know you love George.

Three NBA teams today: "Lock Tiny Gallon in at 31. That's a done deal." Guess not...he went 47. No one can predict this damn thing.

I think George is going to be real nice.
He's been working hard on his handle too and he might become a mismatch nightmare as a legit 6'9 shooting guard.
Him and Granger are going to be a chuck fest though, they both launch from 3 with no abandon.

Every time Penn talks about having cap space to sign 3 max guys...I think about a posting on hoopsworld I read a while back for an online chat with Larry Coon.

Jose in Miami:
If Heat find a way 2 rid of Jones and Cooks contracts and trade Beasley to make more cap space, can they pull off a Wade-Lebron-Stat/Bosh? Or Boozer.

Larry Coon:
A team that wants LBJ, Wade AND Bosh is going to need about $49.7 million cap room. Let's think about the maximum amount of cap room a team can possibly have -- a completely empty roster. There is a roster charge for every player below 12, and an empty roster would have 12 roster charges at $473,604 each. So an empty roster -- no players, no draft picks, no free agents, no nothing -- still has $5.68 million counting against the cap.

With a $56.1 million cap, such a team would have $50.42 million cap room. They can have only about $710,000 above the bare minimum counting against their cap. I don't think there's any way that happens.

Enetric...I literally about die laughing every single year when the Jazz draft, sign or trade for a white guy...Kosta Kofous and the Korver trade were my faves for whatever reason, lol. I just remember Kyle Korver at Creighton getting "Ashton Kutcher" chants.

BTW, PUMPED about the Favors pick haha really hope we end up keeping it.

Now I would love to be able to nab Bledsoe

Just a hunch, but I felt Bledsoe was the target with those 19 for 27/31 rumors we heard a couple days ago.

Exactly what I thought at the time. When he went 18 I was irked.

Terrible trade.

Even as a KU guy, I admit that is bad. Aldrich is probably a very good backup or marginal starter...Henry has a bright future, but should've stayed and worked on his game...he is too one dimensional (shooter, not a driver)...and Collins is obviously a late second rounder if he even gets drafted at all.

OKC needs a player who will just play hard, play defense and rebound. Plus they needed size. Cole fits all that. Also, this team added a nice vet with experience in Mo Pete. Sure, his contract isnt exactly favorable but its not like OKC was going to be a major player in the free agent market. Contracts aside, this is a great trade for OKC and I absolutely love how their management molded this team from scratch.

Since I think it was a poor trade for them...my question is...are you ready for Cole Aldrich to be your next big man bust pick on the Sean May fire? Am I ready to make that statement yet? The BIG BUST prediction? Bigger question....are you going out on your LIMB again???? Are you saying...COLE ALDRICH is the next big thing?

Come on baby...give me a reason to get stupid up in here!!!! :D

I cant believe some of these 2nd rounders slipping. I am behind on the DVR by a bit up to pick 51...and also trying to answer you guys from mid first round...but still...struggling with the trade we made. 3 picks up to give up the highest non guaranteed contract in the draft with some good talent dropping. Whiteside at 33? Johnson at 34?

Not sure I get that. Keep thinking...buy a couple of second rounders for cash? Silver...make the announcement?

Lawal at 46. Tiny at 47. Alabi at 50.

Shocked Pittman went so high.
