It's Official!

the best pg on the pacers' roster... is not on the roster. not a pg on the roster. earl watson sucks and is a free agent. aj price is a computer thief with one leg who also sucks. and tj ford sucks. in addition to horrifically injuring himself multiple times, he has developed into a player who's only advantage is speed - which he no longer has. he is short. he cannot shoot worth a damn. he can't defend anybody. he can't drive the ball. he can't lead a team. and now, not only will he not pass the ball, he won't give one bit of legitimate effort to do even do the multitude of things he can't do badly. and in 57 players, we couldn't find one player who can play pg better than nobody.

good news is it can only get better. well, it can't get worse, at least. anybody. anybody brought into play pg will be such a retardedly dramatic upgrade from having nobody. i am hoping for maybe a wnba player. or maybe mark jackson will come out of retirement when nobody gives him a coaching gig. fantastic.

How about you let the off-season actually get started before you lose it?

The computer thief was Marcus Williams, not A.J. Price. Wrong ex-UConn point guard.

The Pacers can't possibly go into next season with Ford as their only healthy pg, can they? They must figure they're going to trade for one, since they didn't draft one and have no money to get one in free agency.

yeah. they'll bring someone in. it just would be nice to have the rights to one pg. at least as a back up plan. we've got nothing. and both marcus williams and aj prices were arrested for trying to sell stolen laptops. which is pretty much worse than anything tinsley ever did.

Well, keep in mind, his involvement in the laptop thing took place when he was 19, while the older marcus williams was clearly the instigator. Young guy, just off to college, falls in with wrong star PG... Not something to be proud of, but he served his community service and such, and i haven't heard anything bad since then about price.

First games are not until what Late October? We have 3 or 4 months I'm expecting a deal to go down in July. If we did infact turn down the OKC deal as was reported on 1070 The Fan, which was Ford and #10 for Maynor, #18 and #21 I have to think we have something else up for TJ because he clearly cannot be the starter. Think about that deal we would have saved something like $5 million on the salary cap. There is no reason to turn that down unless 1. you are in love with George or 2. you have a better deal worked out and just have to wait for some reason.

what makes you think there was a point guard offered last night that was good enough and experienced enough to be a starter?

besides the point that there were several starter-quality pgs drafted after wall last night... i'm just saying we should've gotten a pg because he'd immediately be the starter on our team - that is, he'd be the best option considering what we have (nothing) until we secure another option.

again... you are out of your mind. There wasn't a PG drafted this year that will start (unless injuries force them into a starting role) other than Wall.
