Blatche breaks left foot.....Surgery coming

Blatche breaks left foot, surgery coming

Andray Blatche suffered a broken left foot this week that will require surgery this summer.

Blatche has denied he did it while playing hoops at Berry Farms, saying it happened in a workout. Either way, he's going to need surgery and this could limit him early in the season. We'll know more about his outlook after the surgery. Jun. 25 - 5:49 pm et

Curse of Les Boulez is back...with a vengance
If you can fill the unforgiving minute
With sixty seconds’ worth of distance run,
Yours is the Earth and everything that’s in it,
And—which is more—you’ll be a Man, my son!

If I'm John Wall, I'm doubling down on my insurance policy...

Man! Someone should tell him not to play soccer.
How long will he be out?

Why the hell are wizards players playing on concrete dang!!!!
Build your team w/5 shooters using P. Pierce Form deeply bent hips and lower back arch at same time b4 rising into shot. Elbow never pointing to the ground! Good teams have an engine player that shoot volume (2000 full season) at 50 percent.Large Hands

He has 4 full months to heal, I can only hope he doesn't need the entire time, but I am not too worried. If anything is may make him easier to resign down the line lol.

That sucks. I hope he gets good medical treatment.

I bet this means that Singleton comes back if the price is reasonable.

The Zards' new chief of surgery will take care of it.

Ho-hum...he's got time. The curse is just dying out folks, don't you see. The full curse would have taken Blatche out on Oct 31st.

Lets hope Wall doesn't get injured like Oden or Griffen.

Latest from Mike Lee is that they already operated yesterday (Friday night) and no basketball related activity for 3 months until late September.

I think he's going to be ok. Maybe not at the start of the year, but pretty soon after that. If he's lucky he'll be like Pau Gasol who had the same kind of injury and surgery during the World Championships and missed the 1st 22 games of the next NBA season, but obviously has since come back strong.

I don't know why, but I'm not worried about the injury, just like I thought something good was going to happen in the lottery. :-?

Hopefully Andray continues to lift weights and all that jazz. Minor setback, nothing major.

That would have only happened if we took Cousins or Favors.

If we ever draft a big man first overall in the next few years.... the Wiz should make them play with pillows strapped to their legs in summer league.

Well, in fairness, we took Mike Pence off their hands. Taking back Mahinmi is the least they can do.

Will return to basketball activities after 3 months....so Sept 25th before he returns to "basketball-related activities".

He's obviously going to be all kinds of out of shape for the start of the season.
