I was in the audience for the presser and the townhall show and for those of you pissed that they didn't answer many online questions, they gave lots of submitted questions to random people to ask. They just wanted to get more fans on there than anthony lapantas hair. Not sure where they took em from but that's what the lady said. You could tell it was the first time around for everyone involved but it was a cool gig. Wes and lazar are funny dudes! Hopefully they can ball out too.

He will have no problem at the 2. In this system the 2 and 3 are interchangable (Brewer often played both as an example) and I think he defends both fine also.

btw, is there a link to the presser this morning? I was in class and would really like to watch it. I saw the townhall one.

It was only on TV once and won't repeat. I'm not aware of any links of video, just a article from the trib if it helps.

Can someone ask an online question about the Rubio vs 2011 Lockout situation? I'd really like to hear what Kahn has to say about that one.

Kahn said, with was seemed like complete belief and confidense, "The year after this. That's it. Ricky told us his plan is to come here after next season." But plans can change, especially given the lockout situatin. I think it's a possibility no one is willing to discuss right now. I think it's obvious that if it's likely there will be a lockout, Rubio will stay in Europe for another year and then get (possibly, depending on the new CBA) a higher paycheck in 2012-2013. I'm okay with that. I'd rather have him playing, improving, making money, and being happy, so long as he doesn't sign an extension in Europe.

Kahn and Rambis are both excellent speakers. I HATED 2 moves in the draft, and the Al situation has me at a loss for words, yet I still feel like it's gonna be okay.

I think Rambis is an excellent teacher. By the way he speaks, it seems like he is really gifted at getting players to improve and become great all around players.

The analogy I came up with is that, you know how guys like Big Baby or Jordan Farmar get thrown into situations where they are on a team that is expected to win now, and all they need to do is know their role and contribute? Those are championship teams, and the young players are being bred from day one to play, act, and personify a Champion. THIS is how Rambis coaches the entire team. Even though the team is no where the Talent level, BBIQ level, or skill level, Rambis is still coaching them as if they will be a significant piece on a contender (even if it's as a 10th man role).

Who knows if this strategy will work with 20-something year old personalities getting paid loads of money, But it sounds so good that is almost HAS to work somehow (as long as we get the talent). If it does't work, this might still prove that KG as a player is to Rambis as a coach. May not be cut out to be a head coach or the number one option (it is looking favorable thought), but I believe right now, that he is probably top 3 (if not the BEST) assistant coach material. That sounds lame now that I read it, but it does say something about him as a Teacher of the game. The jury is still out on the in-game situations though.

Geez, three posts in a row. I need some sleep. Last one, I have a question.

Did the presser give out the player's jersey numbers? I'm just intersed if someone has the info.

EDIT - Answer:

Johnson - #4 (but that's Foye's number and was destined for the rafters... :(
Hayward - #32 (cuz his brother likes it. Lazar is a real family kid, I like it)
Bjelica - #44 (does this mean he's comin over if he already called dibs on a number?)

How is Martell gonna feel if he get's shafted out of the number he wanted by a rookie?

The press conference video is up on the wolves site...

They all handled the presser really well, even Bjelica spoke well. Hopefully he can come over asap. It's hard not to like Wes' personality. I guess you've got to have a sense of humour to wear pants like that.
