I agree, he should be a top target for the Jazz. I love his game.

We don't need to spend more money on another SF. We have more important needs.

He's and SF/PF with more hints of a stretch 4 than a true 3.

As a PF he is another undersized player at 6'7". KOC claims to be making an offer to Boozer on 7-1 so I doubt we will look at another PF backup until that plays out. He is a decent player but not going to improve our team.

yep sounds like the Jazz want to start Boozer at center next year playing Millsap at PF so maybe Boozer might not be gone but the Jazz better not over-pay for him.

Every Timberwolves' fan says he's terrible and can't play any defense and they don't have the highest expectations.

I wouldn't hit up Gomes. The Jazz need to target a Gortat or a Udoh/Biedrins/Wright/Randolph from GS.

I'd love to get Gomes, but only after we trade Kirilenko for Dwight Howard would this ever happen.

Gomes would be a great fit here in Utah, I have always loved his game. I just don't know if we need him, we have plenty of forwards but he would be a solid back-up to Millsap if we lose Boozer for nothing.

He would be nice to have but I don't know if we need him.

Not true at all. He is not a starter and did not fit what we needed at the 3. Off the bench in a structured system like the Jazz could be great.

Didn't he demolish the Jazz once or twice this season?

He seems to always play well against the jazz.

I just don't know if he's worth chasing after when we should be trying to go after a PF/C.

Isn't that the same logic Larry Miller used to insist the Jazz pick up a generally sucky player who lights up the Jazz--John Amaechi?

And we all saw how that worked out....

Demolish is a little strong, but he had a couple of nice games.

He had 23 pts. on 9/10 shooting, 5 rebounds, 5 assists in the Dec. 5 game that the T-Wolves won. He had 11 pts., 6 rebounds, 6 assists in the game on St. Patrick's Day which the Jazz won handily. In the other game he had 11 pts., 2 rebounds, 0 assists.

I hope that the Jazz have learned from the Amaechi mistake and pay attention to how guys play every night and not just against the Jazz...

No they haven't. We have suffered through years of poor backup PG play due to Ronnie's big game against us, including the dunk over Boozer.

We had Jason Hart because of the way he played at the end of one year including a game against us.

Gomes would be a nice player to add to the jazz if Boozer leaves. Split the Mid level between Mathews and Gomes. I would also look at going after Gortat or Bass with our trade exemption .
