Well, not to sound too smug, but it certainly isn't on me, or anyone else who never really believed it could/would happen.

I won't lie, I was sucked in. Or rather, hopeful. I thought it could very well be a deal that clears nola of all it's big contracts - okafor, posey, Paul - and leaves them with an expiring and good value young guys - vc, gortat, Anderson/bass, tpe. It made financial sense IF N.O. were rebuilding.

It's gonna be a bloody long offseason of rumours from here on out though.

Not sure what sucked you in. Only FL related media and blogs were speaking of this.Not a mention from any TV analysts. I haven't even seen this go across NBATV ticker. It's hearsay from supposedly from a reliable source. I say take that for what it is and we'll see. Something will happen. You guyz are right Chris Paul to Orlando trade is DEAD. They aren't shopping him now. UNLESS something else huge happens when free agents fall like dominoes. CP3 to Orlando can Rest In Peace as of right now. So what are some great players to target that we have trade assets for?

Sorry man, knowing Otis' way of working I really think the Paul deal isn't completely over. Y'all are forgetting that Owners, no matter how big the superstar, are always gonna consider it if it saves money now or next year (VC). Not every owner gives GMs a greenlight to do whatever they want. And if trading paul means that mini paul (collison) would develop at a lower price than keeping paul, i'm pretty sure they'll CONSIDER it ..

This has been posted before this point of view, and there's a lot sence to it if ya ask me.

Besides, Paul has asked to be traded. And I still think that for the right price they will trade him simply because they know they have a good PG waiting to shine in Collison.
