Post#1 » by co_laper » Sun Jun 27, 2010 8:59 pm

Did anybody read this? Posted a couple of weeks ago before the draft.

I didn't read this until today, but he did mention having the best workout with San Antonio. Says he wants to be in D-league than returning to Europe. Will be interesting to see what happens. Read somewhere that he's gonna be in Vegas league.

I heard he's going to Vegas too. It sounds like theres a really strong possibility he'll be the D-league next year. Can't wait to see what the guy can do.

I don't really have any expectations of him. He has only played 12 games in the past two years I am not mistaken. A workout wonder... but outside of that he has not proven anything, anywhere in a real game.

He is on the same playing field as Mahimni in my eyes. He has to earn a spot in the league. Big and athetic means **** if they aren't developed too.

I've done a bunch of digging on the guy. Whilst he hasn't competed with the best of the best, his natural skillset is very good. He has an excellent outside shot, smooth stroke. Decent athleticism and nice handles for a big guy. He's only 18! I'm not about to overrate the guy, but damn he has a high ceiling if he can get some solid experience under his belt in the D league.

I did lots of digging too about this guy. Read he did very well in draft combine too but his problem is his lack of experience. He played in a really weak league and couldn't even dominate there. Great workout guy but still has a long way to go in terms of basketball IQ and experience.
