WAS Deals

Post#1 » by Klomp » Sat Jun 26, 2010 10:15 pm

-2009: Traded Mike Miller and Randy Foye for Ricky Rubio, Etan Thomas, Darius Songaila, Oleksiy Pecherov
-2010: Traded Trevor Booker and Hamed N'Diaye for Lazar Hayward and Nemanja Bjelica

We won the first one. Theres a good chance we won the second one too.

I am sure we won the 2nd one based on Bjelica. I am also a Hayward fan. (I did do the email write up in May)

When I heard Booker I chucked and broke the remote.

I think WAS is one of the few teams that is always willing to deal with us for some reason. I also think that MEM and IND are reluctant to deal with us. I know it sounds silly, but I'm sure some teams form ties with one another, or have closer opinions of value.

When Booker was drafted, I needed some "me" time, and vowed to not watch anymore draft. Then grabbed my brothers laptop (had to go to hometown to watch cuz I don't have cable) to see how the forum was doing, and saw he was traded to WAS, then decided to go back and watch the rest. I think my post on the Booker topic pretty much sums up how I felt.

When we drafted Booker, I swore in front of my father and walked away from the tv and took a very intense/angry piss.

Peezo, I was asked specifically about Hayward and Stephenson late may. Watch a bunch of film (games, not youtube) and was a sound board for a discussion on him. I knew we were very high on him.

btw, a couple weeks ago when I mentioned 2 players we were high on late 1st/early second it was Hayward and Stephenson.

I still wished they'd gotten Stephenson. Maybe Indiana will be willing to trade him?
