Bosh and Lebron

Post#1 » by Harry10 » Mon Jun 28, 2010 1:19 am

the new Bosh news is a real surpised, i really though that Lebron and Bosh had it planned out, but guess Bosh wants to team up with Wade in south beach.

so that only really leaves Lebron teaming up with Amare in NYC. Bosh and Wade will be tough, and Lebron and Amare will be tough, but not as bad as Lebron, Bosh, and Rose. if ATL can clear up the cap space, i think the Hawks could look more appealing than NYC, because Lebron and Amare are going to make the playoffs, but they are not going to win any championships, espeically when they won't be able to sign any free agents in 2011, and the only thing Lebron cares about now is getting rings.

Bosh has made the right decision if he goes to Miami, who wouldn't want to play in a great city like Miami next to Wade, Pat Riley and the Ocean? I don't think LeBron goes to NYC, I think he'll go to the bulls with stoudemaire, Rose and Noah. I think JJ will go to NYC with David Lee and possibly Boozer.

LeBron going to NYC would be solely based on fame at this point. If Miami or Chicago get's LeBron+any of the major free agent PF's(Bosh/Amare/Boozer)then you would have a "big 3" that rivaled the 2008 Celtics.

The problem with this is that David Lee has said he wants to play at the 4 and not the 5 full-time. To me Carlos Boozer will only play at the 5 when it's a must like he did during the playoffs while Mehmet Okur was out. A combination of David Lee and Carlos Boozer won't be scaring anyone on defense.

I think New Jewsey will pursue Carlos Boozer, David Lee, and Amare Stoudemire. If they succeed at signing one of them, I believe they attempt to use Derrek Favors during the season to acquire Carmelo Anthony if he wants out. I also won't be surprised if New Jersey goes after Joe Johnson and signs him now.

i think i'll respectfully disagree. Rose and Lebron would be appealing, but i think D'Antoni, his system, Joe, the cash, and Braodway will be more appealing for Amare than Lebron and Chicago. the fact that it is NYC and it is not only a system that Amare is familiar with and thrives in, but has fun playing in. and i also think that if the Suns offer Amare max, he might agree to stay with Nash.

and if it does go down to, Bosh in MIA, Amare and Joe in NYC, and Lebron in CHI, i really don't think the Hawks will be dead in the water.

Heat won't have interior defense
Bulls won't have 3pt shooting
Knicks won't have defense
Celtic are old
Magic, well haven't really improved

and now if Carmelo is out of the picture, the above mentioned teams won't really be able to add anything significant.

i think Hawks can stay competitive, and if the Hawks can work out a Collison trade or something, then the Hawks might improve from next year to last year.
