* one thing to note, mankins absolutely dominated big daddy jamal williams in the first game. read that again. before that game, have you ever seen anyone take it to Jamal?

* one small prediction, i see us tryiing to establish the run early on in the game (more so than usual).

* who is going to cover Gates? will it be Harrison or Thomas? i would love to see Adalius get some more time at ILB this week but that probabbly won't happen. damn you Eric Alexander and Pierre Woods, both of you were supposed to be ready by now. damn.

*didn't Rivers call Hobbs the worst CB in the league? its time for Hobbs to man up.

the stars will have to align for the chargers to beat us. although things like that have happened.

it would be the biggest shock of all sports if the chargers were able to beat us, but big mouths usually lose as the pats have shown against opposing big mouthed teams. the chargers are one of those teams who just dont know when to keep it quiet. I dont understand teams that put fuel on the fire. will they ever learn ?

anyway, I hope to see an a$$ woop today. I also see moss having a huge day and tearing the chargers a new one.

congrats on making it to the superbowl

overall defensively, I liked the way we played against Tom Brady and picking him 3 times. But we couldn't find the end zone in this game. It would have been a better and fun game if LT and Gates were healthy

Good Luck in the superbowl from a chargers fan

a few random thoughts

i thought heath evans was awesome. he was destroying people on his blocks, and has BBJ has noted here several times, the sign of good blocker, finishing off the first one and then destroying the next dude.

i also thought this was the best tackling game we have had, maybe all season. one of the weak points this season has been the defense's inability to tackle on third down. as a whole our defense did a good job of this yesterday.

vincent jackson is the TRUTH. meet TO 2.0 without the **** attitude. a tremendous talent. while hobbs/samuel didn't do a great job on him, i don't think it mattered, Jackson was going to go up and catch the balls that he did.

lastly, Kevin "call me Robert Horry bitches" Faulk was again CLUTCH. when he retires, how the F are we ever going to replace him. simply awesome.
