Argentina wins and Maradona takes a dump at midfield after the game.

I am going to LOVE this match. I say Germany wins but it could be a classic.

Basti, change the 1st post. Instead put up German girls vs. Argentinian girls. That would make the polls much easier to vote on.

Argentina is the favourite to win this game with their World Class offense but I think we at least have a solid chance of beating them.

Don't know if this has been posted yet but Kobe is doing his part. 8-)

“You’re the man, Messi,” Bryant said. “You’re the best. You’re not just good, you’re the best.”
They were just a few words, but they resonated with the young Argentinean.

“Meeting Kobe, it made me think about who he is and what he has achieved,” Messi said. “Even when he got to a very high level of success it was not enough. He continued to push himself and challenge himself. That is a great mentality for an athlete to have. It makes you think, ‘If he has this kind of mentality, why not me, too?’

“I love football and I am driven to improve, but yes, I think it did give me a little extra inspiration.”

This has been said for a few games already, but I think this game will display the best soccer yet. Its a shame that one of these two aren't making the semis. I think Argentina will win a close one.

you're aware that I'd look for some ugly chicks, right? ;)

edit: and just as I looked at the German girls I figured it wouldn't really give Germany an advantage as these girls aren't pretty either.

Which ever one of these teams win I will be rooting for the rest of the way, here's hoping this match is a classic.

This could end up being a really great game. Both have shown that could be dynamic and fast paced teams. An all-time epic?

I expect a solid game but not an epic one. More along the lines of 2006. Close game, interesting to watch but not really epic stuff. Intensity and tactics will be key points of the game IMO. :dontknow:

No she doesn't. She's tied with Sylvie Van der Vaart for the hottest wag.

Germany is scaring the **** out of me. Our defence has been crap, our goalkeeper hasn't done anything spectacular and their offence has been terrific.

They are patient and they find the easiest possible ways to score with their passing. Our only advantage is our offence, slightly and the fact that we have the best player in the world. Messi will HAVE to score a wondergoal or two.

Are you an Argentine or do you root for Argentina just because of Messi?
