^ Another option might be Luol Deng. If the Bulls land Lebron, the Bulls would probably be looking to trade Deng. They most likely would be looking to get Bosh from Toronto, but Toronto may not want Deng because of his contract and the fact that they have Hedo. In principle, it would be a three-way with Deng going to the Spurs, Bosh to the Bulls and Jefferson's expiring to the Raps. Of course, it all depends on what happens in July.

i feel sorry for spurs fans, the team is good, but has no real chance of winning again, but since you have back-in-the-day-stars, you don't want to get rid of them - but you won't win with them either.
time to rebuild, don't u think?

Yes, but so does like 25 other teams in the NBA. Unless you get 2 or 3 All star caliber players in the same team, it's really hard to win it. I mean, what team are you a fan of? Windy city so may be Chicago and they has no shot of winning the title even if Derrick Rose turns into the best PG in the NBA if they can't bring in Lebron or Bosh. Or can it be Charlotte since you have Tyrus Thomas in your sig? They're stuck in mediocrity as well.

I keep saying it. Winning 20 games a season and start developing a losing culture is not more fun than being a 40-45 win team with playoff resume and a winning culture.

If you trade Parker, Duncan, Ginobili, and Jefferson now, you can get back good returns, and if you get back the right chemistry of return, you could rebuild while still being a playoff team.

Barnes is opting out...him and Redick would be a nice fit here.

I've always wanted us to get Dorrell Wright or Antoine Wright the last couple off-seasons, either would supply the athleticism, youth, enough offense, and versatile defense we need on the wing.

No deal. Listen people, Hill cannot run our team yet. Murphy will be a nice fit but there are better fits. Heck, he is good rebounder and shooter, and that is all people. So he is a much much better Bonner. I rather a healthy Okur, any day. And I really dont want another sg. We need a swing.

Anyway, we all should understand this, if RJ picks up his option, which he will, we got one full MLE to use, which most of it will be on Splitter.

We cant sign Barnes, Wright, and Splitter, unless we Trade Dyse.

Big fan of Dorrell Wright. He's going to be a huge steal for whoever picks him up. He's still young, he can shoot, good defender and a solid NBA body with a lot of athletisicm to go with it.

Take out the #20 pick and you've got a deal. The deal gives us a lot of depth all around and some picks that we could use to add some young talent. We could draft Paul George or Gordon Hayward at 10 to adress our need for a backup SF. Then with the 20th pick I think we should go out on a limb and pick Mikhail Torrance. I'm liking this guy more and more as the days go by. He's a smart combo guard who can do it all and is more than capable of running the point in the NBA.

I like both of them ( esp Dorrell) but if we bring in Splitter with the MLE we have no money to throw at the Wrights. :(

The Spurs and Thunder also are in the hunt for a big and have targeted a number of teams in the lottery to move up a few spots. The Thunder have multiple picks to offer. The Spurs have Tony Parker or George Hill. While the Spurs aren't necessarily shopping either player, they're not untouchable, either. If the Spurs can get another big man to help prolong Tim Duncan's career, they'll do it

Carlos Boozer's a big man, he'd pair nicely with TD. Let's get it done.

Would the Spurs be interested in a Kaman/Baron for Parker/RJ swap?

Make it Kaman and Griffin instead and you got a deal.

Now that's just ridiculous. I thought about it this way:

Baron <<< Parker
Kaman >>>> RJ

Kaman is the center the Spurs need to "prolong" TD's career, and Baron would be much more motivated on a playoff team with a great HOF coach like Pop.

No more ridiculous than expecting us to take Baron for Parker. Baron got what he wants, he's playing in his hometown. What more motivation does he need?

Bring over Splitter theres a big to help Duncan.
Sign Gnomes back up for the SF or PF in small ball line up.
Invite Jerome Jordan, Art Parakhouski, or Jordan Eglseder and sign one and let him play in the summer league.
Looking for a third PG look at Denis Clemente, or Scottie Reynolds
Sign a Big FA like Hayward, Miller, Hunter, or Gray all Unrestricted F.A excepet Gray
