We're playing numbers 1 through 11. Nice.

Arjen Robben truly is a great player, he might never be in the discussion with Messi or Ronaldo, but he certainly is in the tier below. Love that left foot.

I don't really care if he's considered as good. One thing is for sure he's been much more efficient this world cup than those guys. In just 30 minutes..

Btw what a pass by Sneijder to set up the goal.

So stupid. They always give throw-in's and corners when the ball isn't even over the line, but with goals, they're always too hesitant...

Slovakias goalie is damn good. That second save was luck (and his big nose), but he's been really excellent all game.

i think he would've been in the discussion with Ronaldo had he managed to stay healthy for an entire season or two.

They might want to try hitting it to the posts instead of straight at the keeper.

now i see why Vittek was playing for a team that was battling relegation much of the season in Turkey.

Those could've easily gone in, he was pretty much doing nothing for 65 minutes

Holland wins without looking too impressive.

Steeklenburg will miss the semifinal if he gets booked for time-wasting...

No, after the quarterfinal... Germany will probably field Denis Aogo and Stefan Kiesling in the semis after we're done with Argentina.

^OH. I heard that it's during the quarters it gets wiped out, that's why I was wondering why the players have been quite conservative when going in for the tackles.
