Like Lebron choked the entire 2007 NBA Finals? I know are going to use his stats but he played like crap the enitre series.

You mean when he led his team in scoring in games 2, 3 and 4? God your an embarrsment. And are you really trying to compare today's Kobe Byrant to a 2007 LBJ that was just barely of legal drinking age when he piggybacked his team to the finals?

Happy either way :)

Oh for the love of god. I won't use his stats because, frankly, he didn't have a strong series. But consider:

(a) He led a garbage Cavs team, literally single handedly (including one of the greatest single game performances in the history of the playoffs) over a vastly superior Pistons team to even get into the Finals.

(b) It was his first NBA Finals. And he was 22 years old.

(c) He was playing against an elite Spurs team, an elite defender in Bowen, and was going 1 on 5 every night because Sasha Pavlovic and an injured Larry Hughes just weren't quite good enough to make Pop's stomach hurt during planning sessions.

I was actually referring to "LeChoke" scoring 29 of the Cavs last 30 points in an over-time win in the crucial Game 5, which gave Cleveland a 3-2 series lead.

I'm not going to argue with you.

You mean a game Cleveland won by 16?

What's your argument against LeBron? That he, and no one else, has bad games against elite teams when the playoffs are on the line? I don't see a single person saying that LeBron doesn't have bad games. What they are saying is that he is no different than Kobe or anyone else in that regard. Really only MJ (and only post 1990 MJ) won and played well almost every single time. And even some games MJ just didn't have it.

I'm pretty sure Jordan45822 is just trolling at this point, if you are looking for an explanation.

Anyone catch one of Wojos latest tweets? Not sure if it was posted

One prominent agent says tonight: "I think there's a very good chance the Knicks will get shutout (in free agency)...Even likely..."
Frank Vogel (Pacer's Coach) on Derrick Rose: "Iverson's Speed, Jason Kidd's Vision, Chauncey Billups Shot and Michael Jordans Athleticism."

Game 6 27 points 19 rebounds 10 assists

And 10.2 FTA a game to make up for the low-by-his-standards 45% fg. This, combined with the wild-spread "LeBron gave up" chatter, is why I'd be shocked if he stays. Not that he didn't let up some, but dude.

Cliff Levingston is personally just ignoring/laughing at the variety of conflicting reports all over the place. No one can be sure who to believe, so might as well just take everything for what's it's worth (pretty much nothing) and wait to see what happens. Regardless of what happens, it should be interesting.

Whoops, I haven't followed this conversation close enough to realize what we're dealing with here. Nevermind my previous sincere post.

I knew this was too good to be true. I knew it. I don't value SAS much, or his opinions. But I heard him on the show this morning, and he was VERY confident in his source. I'm shaken to the core

No offense, but I suggest growing a pair then. Stephen A. Smith sounds overconfident on everything he ever says. That's just his personality.

The NY Times article presented its scenario as a lock, too.

No, He says its souced information. I don't believe its possible that these guys would want to play together on the same team, but thats my opinion only. Stranger things have happened.

Friedel on W&S - Said he just spoke to Larry Coon... who basically said this is almost impossible with Miami's present cap situation. For now, the talk is nonsense, unless they can move Beasley.

Says that the Bulls will sit down with LeBron, present to him their roster situation and the young core, which no other team can offer, and they feel confident that their pitch will be a strong one.
