I read that he is trying to get a deal with showtime to get a show. Maybe he thinks if he guesses right and lbj +bosh go to miami he will get some good publicity.

Forgot them what did boers and burnstein say?
I know you were kidding, but Bernstein thinks SAS is wrong. He says that everybody he speaks to says LeBron is going to Chicago. We can speculate as to what that really means... we all know he's connected and we pretty much know why and who the connections are, so take it FWIW.
He also mentioned that he thinks Amare is going to Miami.

My gut feeling is that the Bulls FO is pretty dialed into talking to Lebron's camp or WWW. Thibs, Hinrich trade, etc. They hear this rumor, and ask Lebron's camp "what's goin on?" and find out instantly if they have to make changes or this is hot air.

I don't know. Bryant to the Bulls, recently Phil to the Bulls, Tyrus can't be traded, Kirk and Tyrus for Bosh, lots of misses there.
Also they were outed with the 'Bear insiders'.

I'd say that's a pretty fair assessment.

Has anyone seen SAS' twitter account? He's a complete d-bag when compared to other people dogged and wont answer fan question when they ask him about the cap and how Miami doesn't have enough space.

Yes, and hard to keep in mind amidst the hysteria.
I will say I knew 2010 could be a blow out, I never imagined every player, well all but Wade, basically still playing it close to the vest with less than a week until July 1.
True craziness.

Just because those things didn't come to fruition, it doesn't mean they weren't being discussed... All they said about Phil was that the feelers were put out. I don't doubt that at all... and Phil news would be right up Bernsie's alley.
I still don't know what the whole Bears thing is about... but it makes sense for them to have Bulls contacts.

I just can't believe a purported NBA journalist (SAS) doesn't know how something as simple as the MLE works.

Although speculation on a Wade-James-Bosh pairing has centered on each of the three taking less than maximum salaries to make the math work, one NBA team executive told the Sun Sentinel Monday that it was his belief that not all of the players involved are receptive to such an approach.
Regardless, in order to accommodate Wade and two other signings near their maximum free-agent salary of roughly $16.6 million, the Heat would have to trade second-year forward Michael Beasley. A league executive said he felt Riley, in his role as Heat president, would be able to find such a suitor on short notice, if he does not already have one lined up.
Counting a re-signed Wade, the Heat currently has roughly $27 million available in salary-cap space, with Beasley still on its 2010-11 payroll. There also is a chance of adjusting the buyout of forward James Jones, which could slightly boost the amount of available salary-cap space. Jones must be waived or traded by Wednesday for the non-buyout portion of his 2010-11 salary not to count against the salary cap.

Quite frankly, no. Rose is no wade. You put three starters on the olympic team together and they will win numerous titles. The Chicago combo, while good, is not like Miami.
It's not like Miami, I agree. It has a center and a much longer shelf life for titles.

Ehhh, what else is wade going to say. I still find his comments very telling from a week or so ago when he said the heat will bring in players that best fit his needs.
On a side note though, i really can't stand Wade anymore. Stemming from the bulls bashing about loyalty and then he slightly backed off like a coward. The same guy talking about loyalty is making visits to other teams after July 1st. I just hope karma comes back to bite this dbag. I would be cool with Wade but those Loyalty were really a gutter move.

Oh, and...

http://blogs.dailyherald.com/node/4290 - More at the link
The latest LeBron prediction to draw unnecessary attention came from former ESPN analyst Stephen A. Smith, who claimed on the radio both LeBron James and Chris Bosh are headed to Miami to play with Dwyane Wade.
On a worry scale of 1 to Carlos Zambrano’s on my fantasy team, I’d say this is about a 1.5 for Bulls fans.
As it stands today, Miami doesn’t have the cap room to re-sign Wade and add two maximum free agents. They could get closer, though, by giving away Michael Beasley, which I’m sure they could do, because he’s still on his rookie contract. Minnesota was already mentioned as a potential trading partner.
I just don’t see LeBron joining up with Wade. Two guys who have averaged 30 points in a season is just a bad match in basketball. Everyone needs to know their role for a team to be successful and there’s usually a pecking order among the scorers. Plus, why would Bosh jump at this scenario? How often would he get the ball with this lineup?
Oh, and...
One last argument worth mentioning is the Bulls don’t have a reliable 3-point shooter, at least none that can match New York’s incomparable Danilo Gallinari. The Bulls will just have to concede that point.

i dont buy that.
1. egos will collide, no question about it
2. whos their start pg and C? bosh stated he doesnt want to play C
3. wades game is similar to brons(people say the same about rose but he's a pg and he'll make the adjustments needed)
Damn I love Hip Hop!

Instead of all the speculating, put yourself in Bron's shoes. What seems most attractive. Honestly, I'd have to say Miami, then Cleveland, then in third place Chicago.
As far as picking a place to live, Miami has it beat, beautiful place, great weather, awesome location on the ocean.
As far as Wade vs. Rose, Wade has it beat. Wade has more experience and is on a different level. Rose will be there soon, but not there yet.
If I was Lebron, Miami would be very tempting. I wish I could say the same about Chicago, but with the brutal winters, brutal traffic, brutal roads around the Berto Center, beat down area around Berto Center, and location of the UC, Chicago is not as tempting as Miami.

So even though he has been trying to trade Beasley for a year - unsuccessfully - now Riley will be able to find a trading partner on short notice? OK.
