Neither will be Batman, or Robbin, Wade, & Bron will be more like the wonder twins, with Bosh being gleek. LOL. :D

Let's see here:

Byron Scott via Marc Spears: Cleveland is a strong possibility still for LeBron.

Anonymous executive source via NY Times: Bosh and LeBron going to Chicago is a done deal.

Anonymous source to Steven A. Smith: Bosh and LeBron are going to Miami.

Anonymous source(s) to Chris Broussard: LeBron going to Chicago is a strong possibility.

what other reports am I missing? I know there are a bunch saying LeBron to NY

Everything is a possibility, and nothing is guaranteed. This is all speculation. I wouldn't count on much of these sources being true.

And then for third stringers: Tim Hardaway, Eddie Jones, Dan Majerle, Jamal Mashburn and Brian Grant.

Veteran PG / Chalmers / Hardaway
Wade / Bell / Jones
James / Veteran SF / Majerle
Bosh / Veteran PF / Grant
O'Neal / Pittman / Veteran C

The 3rd string C could be Alan Ogg. :o

I just heard the interview.
He makes it seem, that is most likely Heat will land him, unless Cavs make him feel guilty about leaving. And he stays.

Also he did seem to know that Wade likes Spo, so he said, Riley will give Spo a shot with this squad, but Riley will be kind looming over him.

The question will become, when will Riley take over?

If we don't win a championship the first year, he's gone.

...Ok, that's just wishful thinking

Since a Bulls fan will inevitably put it up here eventually, I'll go ahead and put it up for you guys.

Bulls poster Doughthonus reports from a source that he has that LeBron will agree to terms with the Bulls on July 3rd.

Dough wrote:A source who's provided accurate information to me in the past has told me that LeBron James will agree to terms with the Bulls by July 3rd after meeting with other teams.

How serious to take this? I'm wondering the same thing myself. If I thought it was completely dismissible I certainly wouldn't post it just to get ridiculed as an attention whore for years, but the amount of false rumors I've heard (even from good sources) is remarkably high.

So in short, I'm not attempting to stake my claim on this one. I don't consider myself some great purveyor of inside sources and information by any stretch. Just passing along something I've heard.

Stephen A Smith sources aye?

Can anyone give me an actual rumor SAS has started in the last year that ends up happening a few days later? I can't, in fact I can't find one dating back to the last 3 years. I found ones that did come true, but that was before he actually commented on them.

If his sources are true, then as of last week, those same sources said Lebron is a lock for New York.

"From what my sources tell me, he still hasn’t made a final decision, but he’s higher on New York now than he was a month ago," Stephen A. Smith told ESPN Radio on Friday. "And the reality is that he is leaning more towards New York than he is towards returning to Cleveland."

The sources said James' favor toward the Knicks played a role in Tom Izzo turning down the Cavaliers' head coaching position.

“LeBron didn’t speak to Izzo because he doesn’t want to have anything to do with who the next coach of the Cavs is going to be just in case he leaves,” said Smith, who covers the NBA for the Philadelphia Inquirer.

Izzo reportedly could not get James to talk to him while trying to decide to leave Michigan State for the NBA. The coach said he "spoke to all the people around him."

Smith added that the sources said James' advisers have been asking "very in-depth questions" about the Knicks organization and that the superstar may not sign with Chicago because he doesn't want to compete with Michael Jordan's legacy.

Another possible free agent, Chris Bosh, told SNY on Thursday he was considering the Knicks and would not wait for James to make a decision where to sign.

Some Chicago fans feel every report that comes out saying LeBron is going to sign there is 100% true, but when a report comes out saying LeBron is going to some other teams, it's a bogus report and they lack a real source.

Bulls fans have to be the most sensitive posters on this forum along with Raptor fans. Any news that seems a detriment to them, they're quick to post on other teams' boards to shoot it down. Pathetic

Bulls fans deserve to be shut out for buying into Chris Broussard alone.

I'd like to see you be the first to post a rumor beneficial to the Heat on this board. Then I'd believe your only purpose is to present the facts :)

Nah, that's too much work. How can they find rumors both beneficial and detrimental to the Heat at the same time???

Sources within Lebrons inner circle tell me that Lebron is not going to sign with the Heat, Raptors, Bulls, Nets, Cavaliers, or Knicks. He is going overseas to New Zealand to play rugby.

This is all BS. I bet one dude, probably someones agent or something like that, is telling all these sports media types that someone is going somewhere. Same dude has probably spread the same rumor about different teams getting Lebron, Bosh, Wade, JJ, Amare, whoever to everyone to get free publicity and attention for their client. Or maybe everyone is doing it and the sports media is a bunch of stupid chumps.

Seriously, what incentive is their to telegraph where someone is going before it happens? Especially considering all these ridiculous contradictory rumors that seem to come out every 2 hours.

*shrug* its starting to get real annoying TBH.

Return to Miami Heat
