Take it for what it is worth (very little)...

I have a buddy who went out the other night and ran in to C-Lee. My buddy brought up that we were trying to get CP3 and C-Lee said he thought it would happen. I don't think players on teams that are in no way involved would have any insight...unless he talked to some of our guys, but hey...

At least we can still hope and pray.

I was never 100% sold on the VC trade, I wanted Court and Dwight to develop together.

On a completely unrelated note, I was playing poker with Jerome James last night and he mentioned that he thinks Joe Johnson is going to Chicago and that stars are hesitant to sign with Miami because of Pat Riley (whatever that means).

I don't know about Pat Riley, he seems like an outstanding coach, but........

-That was a shady move he put on Stan and...

-Why would he retire Jordan's jersey in Miami? I always thought that was just plain stupid.

I have a lot of problems with this roster. But, anything that puts Paul in Magic blue is worth any price !!!

You have all these young players coming in to the league and wearing the number 23. Everyone knows that is Michael Jordan's number. If you are wearing number 23, you want to be Michael Jordan.

As Pat Riley, you are thinking you don't want your players trying to be like Mike because no one is like Mike. The players that try to be, fail miserably.

Meh, but what's that say about the organization? Wasn't Jordan's jersey one of (if not) the first jerseys to be retired?

Lebron is arguably the best, and he came in wearing 23. I mean it's not like Jordan is Jackie Robinson or anything, it just seems in bad nature to me. Jordan is the GOAT, everyone and their mothers know it, so why even do this?

I really can't see this deal happening, only because I have a hard time believing that our offer would be the most attractive of all teams.
