Why when Knicks God has his "source" providing info that becomes a Wiretap Headline but when Doug that is also a moderator has his "source" giving him such an important info that doesnt turn into a Wiretap Headline?

No he had a source. It seemed to be Stephen A. Smith. After Jalen Rose had his famous tweet, he scrambled and started asking Jalen to change his stance to no avail...then he moved on to Stephen A., remarkably close to the same time the wire-tap appeared Stephen A. more or less told him the Knicks weren't off the table. A source is a source, of course of course, that is of course in less the source, is medically brain dead.

Sorry Doug, per wiretap your source was just debunked by a 'Knick Official'.

Did anyone read the article linked in the wiretap? I couldn't find anywhere where it said an official said "It isn't close to a done deal with Chicago." like the wiretap suggests.

No one has a clue where Lebron is going...He himself only knows, if hes even made a decision yet..So no sources or experts know anything, its all speculation and assumptions...Personally I hope he signs with the bulls and he should, but i feel like hes just goin to resign with the cavs because he got unfinished business...Anyone but the Knicks..

And how do you know that?? Maybe lebron decided already and told people. Maybe some of the sources are legit. Maybe not.

After hearing about Maverick being the boss and how Cleveland truly let LeBron get anything he want, I can't see him leaving there. No team would let him be the same prima donna. No, not even the Bulls.

Seriously of all the things to complain about on this board, complaining about Doug starting a thread seems to be at the bottom of the list. I actually went straight thru to this thread beacuse he was the offer. I do not know Doug but as a regular reader of this board he is the best and most conscientious poster that I have ever read.

And here you are adding nothing to nothing. Even though almost every other rumor has been posted in seperate threads since the season ended. But hey, way to add nothing to the conversation and thread.

I can't really say who it is, I debated for 30 minutes whether to post it or not, because I know I have to face all of you in a week, and I don't know what to make of it. Plus, I know how annoying these rumors are and how everyone hates the "my sources" crap. Heck, even I hate it. I almost hate being told stuff like this just because I waffle on how much to say.

I ultimately decided people would rather know than not know what I heard even if you get to crucify me in a week.

I will say, I find the information hard to believe because I personally don't believe LeBron has made a final decision yet, but my source was quite confident.

I'm very glad you posted it, because I needed that. Right, wrong, misinformed, totally informed, whatever. I'm glad you did it. I know you aren't posting something you have not heard, and I know you aren't embellishing. Its good to hear from a trusted man rather than dubious media types. Even though Doug is not asking folks to go to his blog, I suggest you do. The comments section has some interesting additional info. Among other things, a poster described the contents of the just posted Bill Simmons podcast with Chad Ford:



I haven't seen this anywhere else yet, which is suprising, but it's from Chad Ford via the BS Report podcast with Bill Simmons on espn.com:

(paraphrasing)

Simmons says, "I think lebron signs with the bulls, Bosh signs with the bulls, and they trade Deng to the Hawks for Joe Johnson, and the NBA is over for the next 10 years."

Then Ford reponds...

"I'm not sure about Joe Johnson. But I wish I could talk about a particular source I have, but who is the most credible source I've talked to, who believes that's exactly what's going to happen."

And he goes on to say that Jordan's legacy is actually a DRAW for James, that he always sits at the same table and gets the same waiter as Jordan when he goes to Gibson's in Chicago and told this waiter to reserve the table for him and is coming to Chicago.

Ford also says that he takes the statement at that rally in Akron for Lebron when he says he does everything for Akron, without any mention of Cleveland or Ohio, as a clear message that he is leaving.

Sounds like Ford is jumping on the LBJ/Bosh to the Bulls bandwagon.

Ford has waffled a bit at times, but he's predicted LBJ to the Bulls a while back. I think he also predicted Wade to the Knicks though. Ahem.
