what bands are playing in Indiana - anywhere
If I drove across the state, what should I stop and see?

We drove to Indianapolis to watch the Pacers play the Celtics years ago.

Broad Ripple is a nice place to watch local musician's. For mainstream artist's go to Conseco or Verizon. All the other cities in Indiana usually have some pretty good bands too ( Bloomington, Lafayette, Ft. Wayne, Evansville, Gary etc... The town of Nashville, IN is a good alternative to the one in Tenn. if you like country.

We are in the initial stages of legalizing casino's around the state, so pretty soon you'll be able to gamble, if thats your thing. Riverboats are full-fledged gambling card-games, but anything on land is all video poker. Go to French-Lick, take the train-ride past 'The Legend's boyhood home, drink and play 18 holes, go to dinner, and play in a Hold em' tournament later that night. There's one day for you.

You can go to an automobile race in just about any county on any given weekend.

Go to Holiday World in Santa Claus.

Soon you'll be able to visit Michael Jackson's $300 mill. dollar proposed musuem in his hometown (Gary).

Explore Indiana.

2nd, Holiday World is awesome! Though it's probably out of the way if Indy is your destination and closed for most of the basketball season.
