I've got a source close to the Heat, and the organization now has Zo along for the ride to Cleveland on Wednesday night to meet with LeBron along with the Arisons and Pat Riley (among others).

Of all the teams that are going to meet with LeBron, nobody can match our organizations internal draw. Pat Riley demands respect. Mickey Arison is well respected and known for his willingness to spend in the right situation. The Heat are known for their loyalty to current and past players. And the draw of Miami speaks for itself. None of those teams can send a guy like Zo to speak as a superstar who played for that team that will speak to bring LeBron there...

Ewing won't go for NY, Jordan/Pippen won't go for Chicago, Clippers don't have anyone, Nets have nobody, Cavs have nobody, Dallas has nobody.

I truly believe that its our game to lose.

Even Brousard has us as a major contender for Lebron now in his latest tweet.

Wow the Wade Bron thing seemed ridiculous before and now we are frontrunners this is great :D i believe all these rumors are possible because all these guys claim they are about winning

even chris broussard is startin to believe he tweeted:

"CHI-MIAMI emerging as frontrunners for LJ. CLE not dead, but... "

So if this actually comes true. Would shaq come play here for the minimum to try and up his ring count? and would you take him back?

His pure size and strength could prove useful in certain matchups.

Ugh, I don't think Shaq would be welcome here, nor would I really embrace him. As of now, he's just a Jamaal Magloire with a bigger ego and offensive game. Defensively, Shaq never really was truly an elite presence besides his massive size when he was part of the Heat. Remember when he tripped up Wade in the Phoenix game and refused to give him a lift? I don't think Wade wants to join teams again.

After going through the Odom rumors Im still pessimistic, but mostly because I just can't see Lebron willing to share the spotlight with Wade and Bosh. It will be great if Im proved wrong, but I dont believe it. It seems way too good to be true, so it must be. Im just hoping for Bosh to sign with the Heat.

From LeBron's POV I can see it.

Even if he's hell bent on going to Chicago or New York ... that day doesn't have to be today.

Those teams are still 2-3 years away realistically from winning even with LeBron.

So why not maybe sign a shorter term 3 year deal (or a player opt out) with a team like Miami? Win a title or two (or three), see how you like it, enjoy the beaches and night life and then re-evaluate it in a couple of years time? If he likes it a lot, then just re-up the contract again.

I'm not a Heat fan, but just impartially, I've always felt, enough of this "maybe" stuff ... LeBron needs a can't miss player he can team with. And that guy is Wade. You add Bosh on top of that and now it's really on.

No more of this "well maybe Derrick Rose is the no.2 option I've been hoping for ..." go with the sure thing. Someone needs to dethrone the Lakers, right?

Well the one thing that might be working in the Heats favor (and I guess CHI as well) is that LA did win a title this year. Everyone knows how much attention LeBron likes, and if ESPN and all the national media is throwing praise towards Kobe instead of himself for his 5 titles, he might realize he can't do it in CLE with that supporting cast and bounce to the team most capable of winning (at least I hope).
