Better to remain silent and be thought a fool than to speak and to remove all doubt

I think we all can speculate that both players are good. Henry showed he could be coached by being a spot up shooter at Kansas. In a workout session with the Grizz, he said that he could put the ball on the floor and showed it in the workout. I believe Henry will be at least an All Star in the league but instincts tell me that George has Superstar written all over him.

Wow, Somewhat discouraging to go searching for a point guard and find the guy your looking at is being shopped for an upgrade.
What's his problem there? Looked like a fine passer before he got there.
Has he no one to score for him?
How's his D. Anyone blow by him?
Good citizen?
Do you get the feeling that he's outta place or outta his league? He need to grow? I don't care for a guy to shoot a lot. I want a great passer who can run the floor and stop dribble penetration.
Can he be that guy?
And what are your team needs?

J. Jack for Conley makes some sense for both teams, imo. You guys get the taller and more stable PG to play with Mayo.
Rebuilding Toronto gets the younger and faster PG to run with our youth.

Toronto would have to add some incentive IMO

I don't get it. You're saying Toronto is a young team so they should trade for Conley, a young, quick pointguard. Yet I believe Memphis is younger than Toronto overall and plays a more uptempo style than Toronto does, at least last season. So does your arguement not then say that Memphis should keep Conley, who is younger and quicker than Jack? Wouldn't it make more sense for Toronto to look for a team like Minnesota that has multiple young pointguards?
And what exactly does it mean when you say Jack is a more "stable" pointguard than Conley? Is it the efficiency rating of Jack(13.2) vs. Conley(12.71)? Or the turnovers(2.0) for Jack in 27 minutes vs. Conley(2.1) in 32 minutes? Or perhaps the assists for Jack(5.0) vs. Conley(5.3).
I see two comparable pointguards and don't see the need for a trade like this for
Memphis. I'm always in favor of an upgrade at the point but I don't see this being the one.

Well, Ideally, I want the Raps to trade Calderon for shorter contracts and then take on Sessions for part of our trade exception. I'm happy to keep Jack, and I think the Grizzlies should keep Conley, but I've been hearing rumors circulating around Conley for at least two years now. Not like the fans have completely shot down the rumors either. Seems like they have been ok with the idea of moving on for a while.

All fans of a team that can't make the playoffs want improvements, with Grizzlies fans no exception. But they also want that improvement to be a significant one, not just a shuffling of the chairs. I think you will have to wait until the trade deadline to see where Conley's future lies.
He is going to be looking for an extention or take the qualifying offer. With both big men Zach Randolph and Marc Gasol also looking for new deals I think Conley is going to be the expendable one if management thinks that there is something better out there.

Do you consider Sessions an upgrade at PG?

No - lateral +, yes - but not enough to be considered an upgrade.
