Lippi was even fired before the world cup and he'll prolly go fishing with Domenech given their similiar attitudes. Oh well, there's so many other teams to root for: Spain, USA, Holland... and against, like Argentina j/k Horcy or maybe not :)

Haven't seen this before Alez

Sadly to watch Italy go, but as you said, it was deserved. I don't understand why you didn't bring Totti, Cassano, Del Piero. I also think that Quagliarella and Di Natale deserved more minutes and being starters.

Brazil destroyed Chile, kinda obvious, Chile has never beaten Brazil. You gotta love Robinho, Kaka, maicon, Bastos, Lucio. What a team. Rip, we are a step closer to an Argentina vs Brazil final, but, there's still a long way to go.
I love the way that Germany, Brazil and Holland are playing. I love their style, I love their players. Muller has been a fantastic player.
Germany vs Argentina nad Brazil vs Hollan, NOW WE ARE TALKING!!!

aleZ wrote:I remember that and it's always the same story with your squad: incredible skills and excellent players, not consistent enough to go all the way. If they can stay together for a few more games, they're really tough (if not impossible) to beat.

But hey, you can expect anything from Holland: a 3-0 win or a 0-4 loss :P

I agree. I always love dutch players but when they play world cup they just can't reach it. Almost every world cup, teams with history like germany, brazil or italy end with holland hopes very easily.
I used to love Kluivert, Overmars, Bergkamp,Seedorf. Van Basten has been one of the best of the bests. But Netherlands just can't win a world cup. I really love the style but I still think you need something else Holland, you need to turn to the next level.

Uhow! Now its Brazil x Holland :)

Brazil destroyed Chile as usual, the commentators in TV was saying in the last 6 games Brazil won the 6 games scoring 23 goals and alowing just 3... Robinho scoring 8 times and L.Fabiano 5 in 4 games.

Bastos isnt playing very well in this WC, but i expect him to get better.

Horcy, L.Fabiano and Juan deserve some love too :)

Ah... one question, i love Holland's uniform, orange and black is just beatiful, but why does Holland play with a t-shirt orange? Probably its a stupid question, but i never knew it.

Orange is the color of the Royal family, it goes all the way back to Willem I of Orange .. The royal family's name is also "Oranje-Nassau" and Oranje = Orange ..

Correct me if I'm wrong Dutch Magic fans :D (Wij belgen kennen die historie ook dus :) verplichte schoolleerstof)

I've got Japan taking down Paraguay.

Time for Ronaldo to cry again.

I agree on Quagliarella and DiNatale, but Totti and DelPiero are washed up these days, they're just collecting money à la Shaq between injuries and plain old laziness.

Portugal vs Spain should be very good or very bad: it all comes down to the referee once again.

I know they are washed up, but remember Alez. Zidane was not playing good at all, almost retired on 2006, and played a hell of a world cup. Totti and Del piero are two experienced players that could helped the team from the bench on difficult moments.

I would like to kick ronaldo's face. This guy makes my sick, watching himself on the cameras, playing only for him. He doesn't care about his team, about his country, his teammates, he only cares about his look and his hair.

Spain vs Portugal will be a good match. Portugal does not have too much, I like Thiago and Liedson. Chile has been pathetic yesterday, as it was expected.

Yea but Zidane is french - he puts "la france" before everything else that's why he played a hell of a world cup after basically slacking off for years in club teams around Europe. Totti and DelPiero gave up on the national team 4 years ago, in fact neither was too worried about it.

I agree on CristianoRonaldo, but Torres, Villa etc aren't too different: both teams are full of egos that's why the game will be interesting :D

Yes! Penalty kicks between Japan and Paraguay.

Not a horrible match, but not fun if you're a fair-weathered fan.

Komano on suicide watch. Cardozo took forever on that final kick.

I KNOW! It's heating up... and I agree that two of the four teams (Brazil, Argentina, Germany, and Holland) are ending up in the finals and it's going to be a bloood spilling affair! Love the WC!!

I think Spain stills has the chances to beat Portugal and then win against Germany or Argentina, but Portugal has no chances against these two.

Congrats to Paraguay! Now we can have a semi-finals with all teams from South America :)

Football is sooooo fair, Brasil with all its greatness lost. Im devastated but content. They deserved to lose playing as emotional as they did which is so uncharacteristic of them.

Congrats to Holland.

We didnt deserve to win this game after this 2nd half. We played very bad and let Holland control the game, we could have scored more goals in 1st half, but football is this way, if you dont score, the other team will.

Felipe Melo is very stupid! Come on! Better he doesnt come back to Brazil for a while, cuz if he does, he will get killed.
