Question: What would be our salary space if we were to swing a trade for Paul and/or OK4 involving Harris, Favors, and/or Humphries?

Assuming Yi is still here...around 16.2mil. Moving Yi for Q.Ross...19.1mil. Yeah...it works!

Yup, we would have had to have gotten Yi off the books to afford one max contract if we did the oft spoken about Ok4/CP3 for Favors/Harris/Hump trade.

As for this trade....this is good. We could then trade Ross to another team with 3 million to a team with a small tpe, freeing up even more cap space. It's easier to get ride of Ross' small salary, so I'm not sweating having to take him in a Yi deal.

Sure.
I think we could move Ross for pure cap space for a future second now.

We would add cash for the second rounder, but yeah, we could.

Yeah, I just noticed you mentioned that before me.
Ross/3 million dollars/future 2nd(a decent one too, like the best of the future 2nd's we have), should be able to get it done rather easily.

Can we just trade devin harris, kris hump, derrick favors, and future 1st and 2nd for chris paul alone and then sign lebron and bosh with the space we have

If they wouldn't take DJ I would do T-WIll, Hump, GS pick, our 1st next year, and 3 mil

Why they get something for Bosh who would leave otherwise T-Will can fill a multiple postition bench role for them, the cash pretty much covers Hump's salary so they won't be getting killed there and he is a decent player/rebounder (not totally useless), and the get multiple picks one of which could be a lotto pick (GS).

Sure I would love to keep T-WIll and give up DJ instead but if we had to make it Will then we have no choice.

Not giving Twill. basically with all these FA dreams should they become a reality Twill is gonna be our most important bench player because we'll have very little to spend on role players outside of the new core.
Not to mention how damn amazing the kid looked during the end of the season.
Basically if Toronto wants to swing a S&T with us a package of Hump, GSW pick, our 2 1st rounders and maybe some 2nd rounders is what I'll be happy to offer nothing more.
And besides if Bosh doesnt wanna be a Net Amare will be a fine second option.

Anyway if all goes well this will be our 2010 lineup gentleman

Harris/Twill
Lee/Twill
Lebron/ James (lol)
Bosh/Favors
Lopez/Favors

DYNASTY DAWG!!!!!

Not going to happen like that.

But, in theory...we could add Lebron and Bosh...and THEN once they are signed come back to a deal for Paul later should the Hornets change course.

The S&T I see for Bosh?

D.James, and two future first rounders. DONE. And yeah...that gives us exactly 16.8 mil left for Lebron.

The only reall plan I have for getting Paul goes something like this

Trade 1

Paul and Okafor sent to NJ for DH and a future 1st rounder.

Trade 2

Dump Okafor along with Favors and a future 1st/GSW pick or something like (Maybe Toronto takes this for Bosh in the S&T?)

But again Im fine with going forward with Harris and Lopez.

PS sorry for the god awful spelling I just feel like a boy that just woke up and found out it was xmass.

We didn't use any picks to dump Yi so I assume we are going to have to use 1 or 2 to dump Hump though. Forget the S&T for Bosh lets just dump Hump and the GS pick for a future 2nd.

Harris/T-Will
Lee/T-WIll
LBJ/DJ
Bosh or Amare/Favors
Lopez/Favors

Is that lineup suppose to score 200 points? I dont understand why everyone wants that 2nd max so bad. If we are getting a scoring PF we might as well look to get rid of Lopez cause having him becomes pointless. I'd take someone like Perkins over Lopez in the line-up above.
