Do you have a nickname or anything other than "Paul George" we can call you, when we're cheering your name come November?

Paul George: P.G. has really just been my nickname. At Fresno they called me King George.

EVERYONE WELCOME KING GEORGE!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Seems like a really good guy and a good pick. I like that he's confident, but still doesn't come across as cocky. He has all-star potential, hope he lives up to it too.

this kid has a chance in the NBA, for certain. Hopefully, the Pacers have a diamond in the not so rough.

I was hoping for Sessions, Gomes and the #16 for Ford and George.

why would the pacers do that?

I mean the turned down 10th and tj ford ford for maynor 18th and 21st pick which is a lot better than the minnesota deal IMO

I think Sessions and Babbitt would have been good fits and Gomes does provide some cap relief. Hard to say at this point, but I don't think Maynor is a starter. Sessions very well could be and might actually surpass Flynn for the starting spot next season.

I'd like to see him split his minutes between both wing spots, but it is O'Brien's team so who knows.

George is still learning the game and the fact that he played center all highschool and then turning into an sf in college and nailing it well could be a good indication that he learns fast. He's been playing facing the basket for just 1.5 years now or so and he's already pretty impressive. I'm confident he can play SG just like what Dunleavy did with Granger on the 3.

with all the doodoo Pacers get Okafor trades, George could play PF like Rashard Lewis if Obrien goes with Okafor at center. But if Okafor ever comes to the pacers with that contract without Chris Paul comin with him Pacers should move to Kansas City.

Excited about Pacers picking up George. Seems like a great player.
Hopefully he gets a good amount of court time on the team though. It would be annoying to see him get limited minutes.
I see him having a bright future.

Like I've always stated, Indy would have a few teams thinking relocation. Just cause the fans revolted against this org, doesn't erase the fact they were absolutely fanatical for two decades. Kind of like when Minn lost their hockey team ( Norther Stars), it didn't take too long til the league realized Minnesota is the cradle of hockey when it comes to hockey in the US. Same analogy different sport/state. I am not worried, just leave the name and colors because they belong to Indy via the ABA. Regardless, the Pacers will not go anywhere and Las Vegas is the last place any major professional team should represent. I wouldn't want my investment in that environment (Russian Mob/Ital Mob/US mob/prostitution/24-7 never sleeps), there are just too many negative entrapments for these young multi-millionaires to avoid.

Back to George. It feels nice to have a player some feel will exceed most others in the draft.

Indiana would have a team faster than Charlotte. If not people would runup in the white house and hold hostages. We dont play around when it comes to basketball.

I think Indiana should have a team - and I hope you "all" get a contender sooner than later.
