Depending on what moves we make and how much he'd cost us, I'd love to see him back in green.
You'll barely regret this.

I would be thrilled to have our boy Gomes back in Celtics Green.

He has a really diverse offensive game and is a legit 3 offensively...would love to have him back for the right price...certainly more than Mike Miller...but there are moves to be made before this one...players like Gomes are the finishing touch pieces to an off-season strategy, not the beginning - you don't tie up money until you know where the big-thinking moves will fall.

Couldn't agree more...fortunately I don't think other teams will be in a rush to sign him when free agency begins either. Hopefully we can make our big moves in a time-friendly manner so that we can finish off our roster with guys like Gomes instead of guys like Patrick O'Bryant.

wouldn't he still get paid 1M from portland?
I would say the vet min of another 1M should do it for him.

from what i have seen with last year signings, a 3M deal is the top this guy should get.

With all that beeing said, for Gomes, TA, ... and other similar FA, DA should contact them/their agents and show interest and start talking money for the next week or so then make all the moves.

There are a lot of ifs this offseason and DA has to keep all channels opened.
