The Cubs are going on a 100 year drought plus, the current owners declared bankruptcy and they have a ridiculous number of immovable contracts from Soriano to Zambrano. Infinitely worse situation than the Knicks.

If you sign even one big name you guys are making the playoffs next year meaning that the Knicks and the Nets will have similarly slotted 1st rounders next year. Also if all else fails the picks in 2011 and 2012 have protection on them.. So you really have no draft advantage in 2011 over us.A guy like LeBron James is too big for the city of Newark. Do you see howoften that city is on the news, one of the highest crime rates and MOST MURDERS in the United States. How is that not a deterrant? Also I'd personally take Danilo Gallinari over Brook Lopez and I am not that big of a Gallo fan. T-Will is a nice player but he's not better than Chandler. Favors we'll see. It's not as if your core is THAT much better than ours. If Toney Douglas pans out into the player some think he can be, then the margin is even smaller.

Next year...you will have the lower of two picks between you and Houston. So if Yao comes back and they can parlay some of those nice assets you sent them into a trade or two...they could easily be sending you a late first. Now...if we have Lebron and you have no one...you dont think watching the Rockets use your lottery pick making it 3 years in a row your lottery pick is elsewhere a sad state of affairs? And the following year...your protection is a first overall pick. That's it. So odds are high that should you get shutout...that will be 4 years in a row...your lottery pick is helpng someone else.

As for Gallo over Brook. I wont waste time debating that one. Hopefully you can have someone else set you straight on how much more valuable Brook is. Brook was as good last year as Lee was..except with shot blocking. But the bigger difference is when talking core...Brook is back with us where Lee is being kicked to the curb from your 29 win team as you go recruiting.

Our cores is massively better. Its really not close. You have two small forwards, a back up PG, and of course Curry who hasnt played in few years...and your goal is to get the best SF in the world to play for you.

We have the the best big man in this draft, the best center on a rookie contract in the NBA...and most wil tell you...he is the best young big in the game now named Dwight Howard right now.

Devin Harris was an all star PG 2 years ago...and we didnt get to Twill, courtney Lee or Damion Jones taken in this draft who was a pretty decent pick up.

Come on now. Talk ticket sales all you want...but prospects??? Come on now. That is just bad.

Over the last decade...there hasnt been a prominant sports franchise that has spent more per its league comparison, and had less to show for it than the Knicks. 10 years a long window of failure. 9 straight lotteries. You have ONE of those picks and you could be looking at losing 2 more in the coming seasons.

Look...this is turning into one slam after the next....and I am not looking to just kick you guys when you are clearly this far down even if some of you are in denial.

Bottom line..are you actually PROUD of the franchise you root for and the job your owner and team execs have done over the past decade? You cant be. No way.

Say what you want...but when I look over the last decade for my team I see 6 straight playoff season, two NBA finals, domination of head to head matchups against you guys...and when the run was done....instead of fighting it...our GM turned our stars into prospects to reset the table...and did it extremely well.

When this past season began...I said, I want the younger players to develop, for us to get a high drat pick...and that I dont care how many games we lose to get my goals...so long as we beat YOU guys when we played you. I got what I asked for...and even beat you 2 out of 3.

I am confortable that we have done a great job over the last decade as a franchise. Do you feel he sme way?

Yup that's the one. The one that now has 4 lottery picks and 6 guys playing on their rookie contracts. But are you judging with your 27 win core that had no 1st round pick to show for it, and just dumped Nate, Al and David Lee? How is that looking to you?

12 Wins

Say what you want bro, but you are what your record says you are. 3 lotto picks contributed to that 12 win season. I doubt one more will all of a sudden make you a real team.

I think the table has been set very nicely. If we are able to land a center piece through free agency....I think we are off and running.

Can you say you have done the same? You gave away just about every good asset you had (talented proven players, prospects and draft picks) just to have cap room. We created cap room while stockpiling prospects and draft picks.

The funny part is...hwo do you look at your franchise this past year...this past decade and feel you can talk? Seriously?

Because I don't see a 12 win season anywhere. Also because one decade doesn't make or break a franchise. How can you look over every decade in your franchise's existence outside of the 5 year stretch you were good and feel you can talk? Seriously?

Because its the most reent decade. And yours was filled with losing every single year, the most payroll spent in the league, the least prospects to show for it and your next couple of picks going out on top of that. What? You think winning 29 games and having no pick to show for it is better thn winning 12 and getting the best big man in the draft at #3? You think those 17 wins matter more in the long run? Dont fool yourself...your team sucked just as hard this year. The difference is...you have nothing to show for it and you are saying good bye to every player who was of any value on that team including an all star big man.

Compared to six years of playoffs with two finals appearences, and three years of rebuilding the right way....you cant srriously think those 17 wins are something that is something to be proud of.

Everyone has to rebuild at some point in the NBA. Your team just chose to spend 11 years in denial. And in a recruting converation with 25 year olds...that wil matter more than what you did 37 years ago.

Yeah we send our garbage to New York. But we let it fester in PHX for a couple of years first.

We call it Garbury.

Ah, love denial. You do realize we had no coach and no competent assistant coaches right? Now we have Avery, Sam Mitchell, Jones.

Anyways, I hear JJ is getting the max, you guys might just want to look forward to that as the highlight of your FA.
