With all this players meeting to see if they can control the power in the NBA, wouldn't it be great if the fans could cordinate, organize a few stay aways ( don't attend, or watch on TV ) to put this hole PRO sports thing back where it should be. No-one cares about the fans, the ones that really pay the bills.

The fans decide everything. If you don't like it don't go, or watch, or buy...
Depending on how this turns out you may see a lot of that. Not just locally, but should the biggest of the big names gravitate toward NY specifically, it could really hurt the league. The last think the NBA needs is a Yankee situation and the perception that 2/3's of the league is just a farm team for the other 1/3.
Off topic for the OP, but expanding on the subject like...
Shouldn't an employee of the Heat (like Wade) trying to convince a player under contract with the Cavaliers (like LeBron) to sign with the Heat be considered collusion?

Havent only something like 8 teams won the title in the last 30 years? I cant look it up right now, but Im pretty sure its something close to that. It may not seem like it, but more than 2/3's of the team in the league really don't even stand a chance.

Tidho, not sure whether it's collusion, but it's definitely tampering. But to be honest, there's been tons of tampering this off season.

This is an unfortunate product of a generational change. When kids play sports now, the competitiveness is taken out of the equation. Jordan would have NEVER dreamed of teaming up with Barkely and Malone. They all hated each other. Might be the way the world works now.

I mean really Barkley would've demanded a trade to the Lakers or something to chase a ring. I can't see any of the old schoolers trying to get to at team just for a chance for a ring they were to competitive. They would play on their team where they would be the man then just retire with no ring. Malone and Payton were coaxed into coming back by Shaq so it was more for the ride than anything I think.

Re: Players getting together
The aspect of being a "ring whore" hasnt been brought up yet, so here goes. I have never really liked when a veteran/older player at the end of his career signs for well under market value with a contender to get a ring. I can understand it, though I never really liked it.
However this Lebron situation is somewhat different. If three of these guys get together in Miami and dont all max out, but share the remaining capspace I would consider it as bad or worse than any aging player being a ring whore. If, two guys end up on the same team I both getting the max, at least they are getting market value.
As has been brought up here I wouldnt view them winning the title as being as valid as if they had won staying with their original teams, or if they hadnt teamed up to win it. I know that they have every right to do whatever they want, just as Boozer did when he screwed our team over, but any of them being called champions would ring somewhat hollow imo.
