Post#1 » by greenway84 » Wed Jun 30, 2010 2:33 pm

With the shot clock winding down to zero, contract negotiations between city leaders and the Indiana Pacers are grinding on.

A Pacers-imposed deadline of today is expected to pass without an agreement between the team and the Capital Improvement Board over how to cover operating costs for Conseco Fieldhouse.

If it doesn't get done. Do the Pacers sit this season out or do they play in another arena? (Hinkle Fieldhouse, Lucas Oil, or Assembly Hall) or move to another city temperarily because Herb Simon doesn't want to move the team at all.

Since it is INDIANA they can travel round the state and come and play a game up here in Gary.

Does anyone really think they won't work something out? It's bad for both the city and the team if the Pacers aren't playing at Conseco.
