If Sanders can hold his own defensively I think he'll get plenty of minutes. He already could be a very valuable piece for us on the fast break, but he can't constantly blow defensive assignments ala Gadz.

Now, if he can hit a 10-15 foot jump shot, then all of a sudden it's not as difficult to play him and Bogut together, and he may even have a chance to start.

In order to get the most out of Gallon, I think he needs to be around the team.

http://www.nba.com/bucks/features/mb_100629.html

He shared some common ground with former Bucks high-flyer Desmond Mason, but it wasn’t the ability to electrify an audience with a spectacular slam dunk.

“I was really into art,” Sanders said. “I used to draw all the time. I’d go to the basketball court, but I’d draw while the other guys were playing. I’m really an admirer of art, too.”

Well, at least he can open a gallery here in Milwaukee with Desmond if the whole basketball thing doesn't work out.

Seriously, not a bad article. Talks a lot about Sanders humility. Seems he's not taking his opportunity here for granted.

That's not Larry Sanders. That's present day Hassan Whiteside.

So i checked out your link and was about to X out the page when i saw another link on the side about Pritchard getting fired. I listened to it while i was doing some other stuff and the guy doing the audio said one reason Paul Allen and others grew to really dislike Pritchard is him taking so much credit for the turn around with the Blazers, particularly the Brandon Roy/LaMarcus Aldridge draft.

Well, this guy says that everyone in the know among the front office and people with access to the team that in regards to that particular draft day, supposedly Pritchard badly wanted Adam Morrison, not Brandon Roy and he was overruled by then president Steve Patterson who actually was the one to orchestrate the moves in getting Roy and Aldridge. So others in the organization grew to resent that Pritchard willingly to credit for that draft night which was huge in turning around the Blazers while if Pritchard would have been allowed to have his way, Adam Morrison would be a Blazer, not Roy and Aldridge.

I hadn't heard that before. Good stuff.

Plenty of GMs around the league grew annoyed with Pritchard because of how difficult he was to trade with given how he would tend to (often greatly) overvalue his trade assets. Sounds like there were folks close to home who weren't big fans either.
