In regards to this whole trade rumour, I'm sticking to my original stand. I don't want anything to do with Michael Beasley. The Raptors already have a core player who has motivational issues in Bargnani. Michael Beasley might just be worse than Bargnani is this area. With someone like Jay Triano as the head coach, this is just going to be a disaster by picking up more lazy ass players who doesn't have any heart.

No thanks Miami. Trade exception and picks are just fine.

Beasley still has all-star potential and he's not quite damaged goods. He's still a young boy and is suffering from abandonment issues. If you hav a choice between Bynum and beasley you gotta go with beasley because his issues are just mental and can be overcome, Bynum's issue are physical and debilitating.

Where would Atlanta be if they didn't stand by Josh Smith, or the nuggets if they didn't wait on Melo to grow up?

I dont get why people don't want Beasley? Riley butchered the kid, he would do just fine here with better peer bonding with our young guys...

Why just get picks and a TPE when you can get all that, plus a former #2 pick who still has alot left...

My respect for BC is continues to freefall. 2 years from now, when Beasley develops into a mature, 20-7 small forward and all-star honorable mention, TO fans are going to burn BC for this mistake.
What exactly does BC think he can acquire on the market that has more potential than a former number 2 pick slated to be the next Carmelo Anthony????

I'd definitely take Beasley over Bynum, just to avoid dealing with another injury prone big man (JO and then Bosh with his own knee issues), but I still don't like Beasley. He has a great name, but I just don't see where the potential is.

Josh Smith was oozing with talent. He is way more athletic and can block and steal at 6-8/6-9 with great length that can play both the SF and PF positions. I don't see the same things in Beasley. Especially if Miami has been essentially trying to give him away for free with other GMs not even wanting much to do with it.

i dont want a trade exception + pick. Thats ****. Id take the chance on Beasley.

I too would take a chance on Beas. But BC is all about character guys and I doubt he would be interested in Beas

BC's inclination to always favour character over talent stems from a lack of inner strength. Real leaders find diamonds in the rough and lead them to greater things. All BC does is gamble until he has a payoff.

Why do you keep bringing up the fact that he was a former #2 pick? That is meaningless when you consider how many busts there have been in NBA history. And I'm guessing you are all about the stats. Well good for you. Beasley was just another one of those players who provided no help to Wade in Miami.

Lock this baby up. What a douche to make it up (kinda ironic, but this is a multi billion dollar industry).

What Dan LeBatard said is almost now irrelevant. Earlier in the day, Henry Thomas, the agent to both Wade and Bosh said that Bosh to Miami would be finalized shortly after midnight tonight. Now THAT is a source. As I mentioned earlier, Doug Smith had this quote in his article before he removed Thomas' name and replaced it with an "unnamed NBA agent".

I'd be shocked if Bosh to Miami wasn't announced by noon tomorrow.

Could anyone see Magic Johnson, Hakeem Olajuwon, and Michael Jordan conspiring to play with each other to win championships in whatever random city could give them each the most money ?

Bosh's career will end up like JO's anyways. We need to build this team around a pg/sg/ or sf.

Chalmers is flat out garbage. I'd rather have our pick back. That pick is gonna be top 3 pick 4 years later.

Beasley, TPE and a pick are fine with me, but do want to waste cap space on guys like Joel Anthony and Mario Chalmers

Why are some people being picky over what we get back for Bosh? lol.. You take a #2 pick of 2 years ago, a solid young PG and a Large TPE and run with that ****.

Exactly, but would prefer pickS... frankly, I'd love for Bosh to go anywhere where Lebron isn't. Pretty sure that the Raps would have just as good a chance to win a championship as the Heat in that case...

Not only Cap Space but roster spots. If we can trade Hedo it will likely be a 2 for 1 deal, plus if we get a TPE it would only be good if we actually used it. We may need those roster spots for guys we actually want.

Exactly what I've been saying. I want to deal in tangible assets, I keep repeating that. Hoping and praying that BC is gonna turn a TPE into a goldmine is fools gold, haven't we been burned by those false hopes enough? Whatever happened to that 3 million from Miami? Exactly! Jesus.

And really roster spots? What room do we have to be worried about garbage when this team just needs talent, period. If worse comes to worse, we excise someone on the fringe like a Dorsey. And dismissing decent players like a Chalmers is foolish. He's young (24), cheap, attainable, can be a capable back-up, and plays D!
