Hello Kings fans!
I'm a diehard frustrated Indiana Pacers fan, and I am sure that being fans of a once great small market team that has fallen on hard times that you guys can relate to my misery.
Having said that, I have a trade idea that might perhaps make sense for both of our franchises, and make us both better without giving up any future flexibility:
Indiana trades Brandon Rush, rights to Euro Erazem Lorbek to Sacramento
Sacramento trades Jason Thompson to Indiana
Rush is a defensive minded wing who shoots the 3 point shot very well. He has been misused somewhat by our inept current coaching staff, but he would fit much better in Sacramento I think with your current personnel. He is a good post feeder, is above average defensively, and doesn't need the ball on offense alot to fit in. Plus his lower key demeanor might be good with some of your combustible personalities.
Lorbek is a decent Euro PF, but is here mainly for sweetener. This deal solves a wing problem for you cheaply, and clears playing time for Landry, Cousins, Dalembert, and Whiteside.
For Indiana, Thompson I think is a great fit next to Roy Hibbert as a starting level 4. Thompson has good size and is an above average rebounder, which we need next to Hibbert. I also believe/hope Thompson is big and strong enough to give us back up minutes at the 5, enabling us to play a 3 man rotation of Hibbert/Thompson/Hansbrough, with McRoberts plugging in any gaps.
Short term we still have Jeff Foster and Troy Murphy's expiring, but with this deal we can use those big contracts to improve in other areas.
Most of my Pacers fellow fans are reluctant to give up on Rush, and if they do agree to move him they think PG is the most pressing concern.....but while I see their arguments, I know long term we need a rebounding PF with length and athleticism, and I think Thompson might fit the bill.
Thoughts from Kings nation?

Thank you for taking your time on the write up..
But I would have to pass .. JT is to good to give away for a player that supposedly used wrong .. when Sac Does NOT need a SF .. we need a back up PG and SG .. SF is least of Sacramentos worries..

Yeah, good effort, but this is a definite no for the Kings. Why would we add another small forward when we all ready have Omri Casspi and Donte Greene who's a good enough rotation right now. If you make an offer for us to get a shooting guard or point guard then it good be considered.
If you want Garcia we can probably find a deal.

I love hearing trade ideas lol - But I would have to say no on this one... I think we would be better off exploring FA or even an unsigned player at this point - get someone on the cheap, the kings front office has a nack for finding hidden talent.

That is a crass offer. I'm personally offended by it. Thompson is a second year big who averaged 12.5 and 8.5 despite leading the league in fouls. If he just gets a little smarter and learns how to stay on the floor, that's bumped up to 15 and 10 easily, and he's continuously improving. And you want to offer Brandon Rush? Brandon Rush? Dude didn't even average 10 points and is a 60% free throw shooter. And we have Garcia, Greene, and Casspi. Rush would literally be our 12th man. And the European guy would not get a single minute on our team either. You want us to trade our starting PF of the future for two guys who would lead Sacramento franchise history in DNPCD's. No.

Funny being a pretty big JT fan I wasn't offended. I just live by the theory that you can't ever have too many quality bigs. If JT plays better defense and stays out of foul trouble he's a 16/10 guy who's on the floor for 32-36 minutes. The fact he can play some minutes at the 5 is a big plus.
You don't trade bigs for wings! You just don't in this league. Wings are out there if you can scout. Besides I think Rush is no better than Francisco Garcia.

Yeah, Rush is a pass. If we wanted him we would have taken him. He has done nothing since the draft to prove he's worthy of JT at all. I've never heard of the other guy, which isn't a good sign.

Another SF is not what this team needs atm tbh and offering Erazem is all neat and nice but afaik he is not planning to come to the NBA.
Oh and to those who laugh at the "loleuropf" it seems you don`t really know him. Very crafty and intelligent player, he was the only big man to go toe to toe with Pau and Marc Gasol in the Eurobasket 2009 and completely destroyed Marcin Gortat, not to mention all the other frontcourts. Think of him as a smaller Pau Gasol (he is 6.9 i think) which rebounds less but can stretch the floor as his 3 point shot and especially his mid range jumper are great, but where he shines the most is under the basket . His array of post moves is just
