Wow what a frustrating picture, everybody was pretty open besides Driver.I saw Grant wide open on TV but didn't realy catch how open Jennings and Lee where, damn.

Quick dump to Grant and we woulda for sure had 1st & 10 on about the 40. :banghead:

It almost looks like the Giants defense **** up on that play and should have been burned but the one area of the field they had well covered was the right side where Driver was,Favre throws it anywhere else we woulda burned em for at least 10-15 yards and 1st down.

Had Favre threw it to Jennings we might have had a replay of the Denver game.Jennings has like 3 steps on the corner and the saftey went deep so if Jennings coulda made a move and beat the saftey it woulda been 6.If nothing else Jennings probably gets in Crosby's range.

Of all options though why Driver?? he was the only one covered tight WTF.What the hell was Favre thinking.

It was probably due to him being impatient in the pocket due to the cold like I was saying in my ''upon further review'' thread. :banghead:

Totally agree, man.

I too decided to torture myself again and watch the broadcast (after freezing my ass off), and I saw the same thing you did. Favre was rushing his throws and didn't seem to want any type of pressure whatsoever. So he was imagining more pressure than there was, and throwing early, before the receiver's breaks.

Another thing I noticed was that Manning locked onto his receivers the entire time. Rarely looked the safeties/linebackers off. He just sat there and waited until Burress (mostly) got open, and just threw it right to him as the first (and only) option. Any one of blitzing, safety help, or QB spying would've worked.

Not to mention the obvious lack of adjustments to help Harris.

What a dumb game to scar me for life with. F@ckers.

Of course when this photo was taken the ball was almost to Driver. Umenyiora had already turned and started running down the field (the reason Favre threw when he did was because Umenyiora was in his face). The other DB's had let up since the ball was thrown to the other side of the field. If you look at the video from this play you would see that.

I would rather see a photo of what it looked like BEFORE he threw the ball. Certainly it was a bad throw but this photo is out of context..

Excellent point. Good call. Still was bad pass to Driver.
