I don't understand either target...also, maybe mod merge this with the Lee and Gay threads so they are all together...maybe just have it as the free agents that will visit thread

Ok I would love to sign and get Rudy Gay on the squad but I don't think were going to have the cap room to get him with the signing of Pek maybe the rumored trade(Jefferson,Brewer for Randolph,Gay) but the hole David Lee thing makes zero sense.

Lee is interesting. Maybe Kahn is thinking-- you know, there's no FA SG's so I'll have to trade for one.

Sign Lee. BOOM/KAPOW/SNAP. Trade Love + Brewer for James Harden + Ibaka.

Yeah, I wonder if Kahn doesn't belive in Al or Love. I can't see Lee and Love coexisting, especially when you throw in Darko and Pek.

I wounder if maybe if we sign David Lee we let Darko walk and have him start at center and have Pek as the back up ?

If the Kahn man and Rambis want a running team for Rubio a starting line up of Lee,Love,Webster and Johnson would be it.But probably the worst D in the league.

Do you guys still have the space after the recent agreement, rookie cap holds, and current contracts? Unless I'm missing something, Pekovic hinders your flexibility.

I would guess that we will try and sign whomever is cheaper.Looks like Kahn's plan A.Rudy Gay,B.David Lee and then which everone we get(If Gay we trade Jefferson for young back up and cap room,or Lee then we trade him for a young SG)

Jefferson will either be traded to open up cap room or as part of a S/T. Don't worry, it won't hurt our chances of making Gay a big offer. :wink:

Lee is not a center by any stretch of the imagination. He also makes Jefferson look like Dwight Howard on defense.

That's because Kahn can't keep his yapper shut....and he signed someone.

The Joe Johnson getting max is bad for us. He's staying in ATL, then NY's new target likely becomes Gay......ah well. I didn't really want him anway.
