Ugh... (Favre's OT pass)
This was posted in the jsonline forums. Brett's INT in OT. Everyone besides Driver was open.

As you look at the havoc the cold wreaked on Favre and the finesse WR offense we have, you'd have wished this game was in a dome.
I agree about this being the one year we might have better off playing the NFC title game in a dome but the only catch about this year is that dome would have been in Dallas vs the Cowboys.
Even knowing what I know now about how the cold affected Favre and the simple fact we lost the game im still glad that we got the Giants at lambeau rather than having to play the Cowboys in Dallas.
For one Favre is jinxed in Dallas I dont care what anyone says, everytime Favre steps on the field at Texas stadium and he becomes a scared rookie playing in his first game.
Plus it was bad enough seeing the Packers lose the title game but it would have been salt in the woud if the Packers lost the title game and we had to watch the Cowboys march on to the Super Bowl at our expense yet agian.
It sucks we lost but there is no reason to hate the Giants like there is with the Cowboys so that doesnt make the Packers loss sting as much had we lost to the Boys.
Had the Packers had the #2 seed the #1 seed was lets say the Saints in a dome of course or the Bucs in 70 degree weather then I would say hell yes I would have loved to see the Packers play on the road rather than Lambeau.
But i'd take a freezing Lambeau even if it affected our play rather than Texas Stadium.
Damn Saints they shoulda went 14-2 and went to the NFC title game like they did last year, they ruined ir for us.

Favre obviously blew this play big time, but keep in my we are looking at a still photo. It's not like Brett was playing a video game where he got to hit the pause button, see where each receiver was/defender was, then hit play again with now a clear idea which guy to throw to and where.
Brett simply made a terrible throw. Deep out patterns are very risky passes to throw and Brett didn't get enough on the throw along with it being inside. That was a far bigger factor than which receiver he chose to throw the ball to.

Grant was open all the way. If he led Lee, he was open. Not sure what you're looking at.
Look at the 57 second mark to 1:00 min mark of the video.
Nobody is open at 57 or 58, he looks at Lee and Jennings at 58-59, also at 58-59 he feels pressure from his back side and slides right, at 59 Grant is just starting his pattern, Driver and Lee are equally covered, and Jennings has a safety over the top on him. At 59 1/2 he is cocking his arm to throw to Driver at which point Jennings is coming open, Grant is just getting into the 2nd tier and Lee is reasonably covered, Driver is cutting to the outside with defender slightly inside. If he throws the ball on a rope and to the outside it's probably a completion, and not an interception. At 1 minute the ball is in the air and the others become open.

It's pretty simple, he made a bad throw. It should of been to the outside shoulder, instead it was left way inside.
Blehhh, I don't even want to think about this, it makes me sick to my stomach.
