Haha...this would be funny to read for any Hawks fan that watches the team regularly. We all know that ridding the team of Bibby and Marvin is the quintessential addition-by-subtraction move.

Curry for Marvin and Bibby actually is probably a good bball trade for us and a could financial trade for them if they resign JJ.

Sweet, this will probably mean Jamal's a starter again.

He's going to be JJ's Robin!

No...JJ probably said, "I'll come back, but I'm done with guarding PG's. Move Bibby and I'll sign."

Williams is a sixth man....No harm there.

Have you see them try to score outside of JJ? And who the f' will play PG? Felton? Ridnoir?

What happens when JC and Horford are due Contracts soon?

What about my above mentioned Ownership issues that have arisen again?

What about the lack of depth at PG and SF after this Trade?

I'm sure JJ must be salivating at the lips to return to that.

So let me understand how the meeting may have went we want to offer you the max but we need to move other players to be able to do this with our salary resources this could take a few days or weeks. Or J can sign outright with any team that can afford him for the max hmmmmmmmmmm.

Probably Teague or someone we get in trade/FA. To conjure Bill Simmons, anyone is better than the chalk outline of Mike Bibby.

What happens when JC and Horford are due Contracts soon?
Jamal Crawford will be traded no doubt before his contract is up. Jordan Crawford=our new Jamal Crawford. Horford will be extended some way some how. Ridding the team of Marv and Bibby actually helps towards that end, especially if we get expirings back.

What about my above mentioned Ownership issues that have arisen again?
Too early and hard to say what impact, if any, the ownership speculation/issues might have.

What about the lack of depth at PG and SF after this Trade?
Again, Marvin and Bibby are more than easily replaceable.

I'm sure JJ must be salivating at the lips to return to that.
All I can say is he has 119 million reasons to salivate his lips to.

I'd get in on that, sadly. That's how much I want Fatso gone. And Bibby is still a serviceable point, when healthy. Meanwhile, Starvin' Marvin has more of a conscience than Free Hanging Tech. But it might be only marginally better for us...

Bibby looks like he's about 80 years old out there. And the Knicks have no real honest use for Marvin Williams at all. Consider that he has a 1st round picks salary and it becomes kinda pointless. This would be the reverse of the Hawks "addition by subtraction". For the Knicks it would be "subtraction (useful cap flexibility) by addition (of these 2 stiffs)".
