Marvin for Vlad? I don't think I'd do that...but Marvin is overpaid if we are just going to use him like he's Aaron Afflalo or Matt Barnes.

I don't see Bibby going to GS unless Ellis is coming back(doubtful). They have no use for him.

Who plays SF? We try and sell JChill on coming back to be the starter?

Andris Biedrins and Monta Ellis come to mind, but I won't be surprised if we just want to dump the contracts for Dan Gadzuric and or Vladimir Radmanovic.
Ronny Turiaf would be a nice addition.

I'd love to get Monta Ellis. Marvin and Bibby for Ellis possibly?

To HELL with the Heat

No. The plan will probably be to start Mo Evans at the 3. The Hawks had to get rid of Smith or Marvin(lor S&T Al next year)if they wanted to stay under the tax.

Maybe Joe Johnson would be open to playing the 3 and still have his touches to bring the ball up like Lebron James.

The Gadz for Bibby swap doesn't make sense though. They have absolutely no use for Bibby.

AB or Ellis for MW is what your fans want, but I doubt that would happen but more in the realm of MW for Gadz or Radman... which salaries work.
Especially with the money you guys are about to drop on JJ. I think it's more to clear salary now and for the future cap space with the pending JJ signing.
Gadz and Bell have trade restrictions which prevent them form being traded to another team as part of a package but allowable for 1 to 1 ratio.

Maybe they just want to dump everybody except Josh and Al, now that they gave 120M to Joe.
If it's that, they are what we thought of these owners, they're clowns.

You can certainly get Zaza if you want

And last year, there were people on the SAC agreeing with a Marvin/Zaza/Speedy for Brad Miller/Salmons trade... it makes me sick now thinking we are on the verge to dump them for nothing because of this stupid 120M contract.

Whatever roster we end up with, we are going to have Joe/Josh/AL as our big 3.
We need to improve on that. We'll be lucky to keep Crawford and stay under the cap.
This is what happens when you pay employee #2 25% of your cap funds.

Re: Bibby/Marvin to GS in the works?
I am proposing a trade that would be great for ATL...
Atlanta outgoing players: Mike Bibby, Marvin Williams
Atlanta incoming players: Chris Paul
New Orleans outgoing players: Chris Paul, Emeka Okafor
New Orleans incoming players: Monta Ellis, Andris Biedrins
Golden State outgoing players: Monta Ellis, Andris Biedrins
Golden State incoming players: Mike Bibby, Marvin Williams, Emeka Okafor
Before you say anything.... I know its not very likely... but how awesome would this be?

Re: Bibby/Marvin to GS in the works?
Bibby has more value to Golden State than Gadzuric as long as Don Nelson is in charge. Gadz doesn't fit the system and will rarely see floor. Bibby can still shoot and suffers on D. Don Nelson doesn't really play D. Seems like a fit to me. Can't really make out what the rest of the rumor is.

You do know Don Nelson is on his way out very soon? The warriors are in the middle of a sale and they aren't going to make unnecessary trade for Bibby when they're stacked at guard right now.

Re: Bibby/Marvin to GS in the works?
Larry Riley is in charge and has basically told Don Nelson that he needs to step back. The team is being sold, so maybe it's best for them to trade off more of the high contracts, but I believe we just want to unload salary.
