I remember Eduardo Najera used to kill Yao with that front. And if I remember correctly, Pau Gasol got pretty good at fronting Yao as well.

Pretty much everybody is good at fronting Yao, but Al Harrington is the GOAT.

Good thing Portland didn't care too much about fronting two years ago . Hopefully teams will have forgotten.

Maybe Najera would be 4th on the list. He may have started the Yao fronting movement but Diaw and Harrington perfected it. I remember Najera frustrating Yao with his front defense a long long time ago but he didn't play enough for me to really put him ahead of any of those 3. Al harrington, and Boris Diaw shutted Yao down for the entire game while Najera would just come in for a short 3 minute spurt.

in the 24 games he played for the rockets, kevin martin went to the free throw line 155 times. which averages about 6.5 attempts per game. So MArtin can definitely draw fouls .

They would complement each other perfectly imo. This thread basically tells me that a lot of you never actually saw Martin play before he became a Rocket. His ability to get to the basket and draw fouls is probably his best quality.
