I was thinking the same thing. Is CP3 still on the trading block though?

I don't get the bad rap for failing to develop young players. It's not like Scott was given tons of young talent to work with in New Orleans. You seem to forget him developing David West, Tyson Chandler and Chris Paul. Saying that Collison and Thornton wouldn't have succeeded in New Orleans after a 1/6 of the season under Scott and he didn't want to develop them seems a bit harsh. Yes I know management wanted to play Collison and Thornton more but who says Scott wouldn't have gotten credit for their development in NO when Paul and Peterson went down with injuries?

In New Jersey people seem to forget Scott relied heavily on Kenyon Martin, Jason Collins and Richard Jefferson all in their early years in the league.

Scott was the best coach available, and the best choice for us IMO. I like this move and I'm glad we went for him. In the meantime, let's hope LeBron will remain with the Cavs..

My dawg L&H_05 ! what up man ?

Anyway congrats on Coach B. He's a damn good coach, knows the game and how to win on the big stage. Of course I'm a little bias but it's a reason Byron keeps getting jobs, he can communicate well. Don't believe all that BS about him not being able to coach.

Man I hope LeBron stays, I don't think he's leaving anyway but we'll know soon. I expect to see my boys and your boys next June..........book it. :D

Not unlike Mike Brown in that respect. Of course, Collison is Chris Paul's back up so its sort of like complaining that Danny Green didn't get enough minutes even though LeBron is playing in front of him.

I like Scott (although I liked Shaw more), I think its a smart move. If his resume helps keep LeBron, then great! If not he's a guy that's helped turn too franchises around - I'll take it.

Watching the press conference just re-affirms my stance in that Scott was the best man for the job.

Really liked how Byron handled the press conference.
