Eh ... I don't know how great of news that is. I was hoping Amar'e would be tempting enough to Miami for them to lock him up before Bosh had a chance to make up his mind.

Boozer's either ending up here or Miami now, with Bosh going to the other.

PF Left on market
Carlos Boozer
Chris Bosh
David Lee

Teams with Max Cap Space
NY (just signed Amare per this scenario)
Miami
Chicago
NJ
LA Clippers

That leaves three PF on the market that are all very unlikely to resign and three teams with needs at the PF spot.

Yeah - I don't buy the Amare story until there is much more confirmation. The notion that he also won't wait and shop around is kind of off.

On Knicks boards the only two "reporters" who have said anything about it are "Tommy D" who seems to have no credibility whatsoever, and a fake Twitter account impersonating some Denver beat writer.. I think Amare is very much in play still.

Isn't Amare's max close to 20 mil?
If true, and the Knicks only have about 33 mil total in cap space, no way they can offer bron the max.. this might be a plan B type of a move so they dont get left hanging when its all said and done...

please Miami...sign Amare. I would love to see 'the favorite' knocked out of the Bosh hunt.
