Windhorst said it best

With some of crazy deals given out today, owners are going to have a hard sell on selling players they're hurting next year when CBA up.

People were in an uproar when the Cavs gave Varejao his contract and all of these are worse imo.

It might turn out to be 2 years of speculation with really no cataclysmic free agent movement. I think Chris Bosh, Carlos Boozer, David Lee, and Amare Stoudemire will switch teams, but I think LeBron, Joe Johnson, and Dwayne Wade end up staying put.

These contracts that are being thrown out are ridiculous. It leads me to think that Melo will be able to get a max contract if he waits with the way cash is being thrown around. It looks as though the Heat will be the big winners in free agency while the Knicks, Nets, and Bulls may end up with egg on their face.

Is Gooden really worth 6 million a year? I think he played for 5 different teams in less than 3 seasons for a reason..

Does anyone remember when the NHL went to the lockout and all the contracts were discounted by a certain percentage...could the owners know/petition for something similar?

The Suns just signed Hakim Warrick for 18 million over 4 years. It makes me wonder where the Suns are getting all this money. I am not the biggest Amare fan, but I would spend the money used on Warrick and Frye on Stoudemire instead.

Darko 4/20$ - and they sound like they are trading Jefferson.

Return to Cleveland Cavaliers
