Just like any responsible employeer in any line of work you do your homework and research the person before you commit to them. Bosh should know this but I guess hes being blinded by the thought of people thinking about him.

The guys on XM MadDog Sports radio out of NY are not fans of Bosh and his media antics either. They said yesterday that Bosh really believes he's in the same league as Lebron and Dwayne and he's crazy for believing his own hype.

If you are going to say that about Bosh, the same thing must be applied about Lebron. For God's sake, I've heard as much about Lebron's desire to become a billionaire and icon as winning in general. Plus, he is the one who tried to orchestrate a "free-agency tour" and would have done it had he not gotten backlash.
not really, we have heard first hand from bosh. everything we have heard about lebron has been second hand(so we dont know if its true or not), he himself has been very quiet about everything. bosh on the other hand, has hosted radio shows in ny, twittered, gone on espn, and has been very open about what he is doing.
Hey they knew that coming in the whole NBA knows since his Texas car Salesman days. With that said they still wanted him on board, however, it is obvious that neither RIley nor Company know how to plat the courtship game.
This guy has been with us for 7 years and only know during this wek he gets a chance to feel very improtant, whats the harm. It will all end on Monday once Lebrone declares he is staying in Cleveland.
The Heat appear like a guy going on a first date and at the end he says to his girl we need to get married and you have a couple of hours to make up your mind.

Aren't they concerned that Bosh can't make life easier for Wade on either end of the court?
I mean, what do they think is going to happen, that Wade tears through the lane, about-faces and whips the ball to Bosh at the FT line for a jumper? They have that guy, his name is Udonis Haslem. Haslem can hit baseline jumpers also, while playing 10x better defence.
Miami is about to make a huge mistake. Get 'er done, Riley!

Lebron's on-court performance tells a different story.
And he is probably worth $25 mill/year while Bosh is only questionably worth the max.
and @Morena,
As evidenced by Lebron's freeze up and nervous, nail biting fail in this year's playoff, he is not so talented as to be above criticism. Did you guys not watch that last Cavs game against the Celtics? Is that the work of a basketball God who can shoulder the responsibilities of being a media whoring global icon and still dominate on the basketball court?
No. If it applies to Bosh, it applies Lebron.

If Miami really felt this way, Amare or Boozer would have likely already signed with the Heat.

Grow up people.
Bosh busted his ass for this joke of a franchise since he was a rookie. The Franchise let him down, not the other way around. They gave him joke teams to work with and he tried his best. He got NO attention from the American media at all, and is finally getting some, and enjoying it.
I also find it hard to believe this was said on ESPN at all. Considering of all the free agents, Bosh has been the MOST SILENT. The only reason you guys think he has been in the spotlight the most is because you are following him like stalkers.
Wade is filming a documentary, James is plastered all over ESPN. Bosh has tossed out a couple tweets, big **** deal.
Ric Bucher is not a Raptor fan, the NY post are not Raptor fans and neither is several US radio stations who are all beginning to question Mr. Bosh..
He did get attention, he is an all star you dont become an all star without getting attention and who the hell gives a damn about attention? This is supposed to be about winning which goes back to what Miami is saying, we dont give a damn if you think your not getting enough love all we want you to do is win...

Bosh seems to like the Social Media more than basketball.
Lebron seems to like money more than basektball.
This offseason really makes me appreciate the way that Kobe is quiet. He doesnt whore himself out to things like this(except the trade bynum video) He just plays the game.

You could say it's kinda like a potential employer checking out somebody's facebook page before hiring them. Everything on their resume can look really appealing, but you want to look at the bigger picture. If the guy is going to make as much as anyone else in the company based on him saying he wants to be your best performer, you might question that if he has stuff on his profile that makes you think maybe he's in it for the money and image more than the actual results.
Of course - this could just be someone's indirect way to tell Bosh to shut the hell up, or a negotiating tactic to get Bosh to the table in a serious way if it could damage his ability to make money if similar negative feedback becomes even louder.

Agreed. I'm not pissed at the fact that Bosh is leaving. Some people still feel that it's Bosh's fault.
But he is being a total media w*ore and it's pathetic.
Bosh was a media whore long before free agency started and no one had a problem with it then. Its now that the US market cares about his web activity and the fact that he's leaving that's making everyone around here so upset. It's called separation anxiety.
It's funny how so many people loved his first Youtube Car Salesman video around these parts and thought it was funny and gave him some exposure, but now that he's leaving they are using the same video to rationalize to themselves why he's no good and could care less.

You sir are a man who sees the situation as it's supposed to be seen. No bias, no emotion. You can't let the fact that you are a Raptor fan cloud your vision. Bosh is an all-star who was going nowhere with the Raptor's, he wants to win. And I don't really recall anything that Bosh has done or said that can be seen as being disrespectful to the the Raptor's organization. In fact without Bosh, the Raptors organization would probably cease to exist post-VC. And lets not forget the Chris Bosh Foundation and all his community work.

I disagree. Time will show that one of us is right but my opinion is that Bosh is simply not the type of player to have on a winning team. He is very skilled but most of his scoring comes on isos and that is a surefire way to fail when the chips are down. This is why Bosh was never particularly good in the end game and why he could never be really effective in the playoffs.
The common argument is that the management has failed to surround Bosh with appropriate help but that is simply not the case. Bottom line is, we had a system that was designed around Bosh and he failed to even deliver us to the playoffs. Others have done more with far less talent than Bosh had around him in Toronto.
Toronto desperately needed a franchise player after VC was traded to NJ. To fill the void, Bosh (who was the best player on the team at the time) had a lot of hype and attention heaped on him by the Toronto media. This has resulted in him being the most overrated player in the league. Which is where we stand now.
Hopefully we are not the only option remaining for him and he goes elsewhere to pursue the fame and glory he so badly desires. Time will tell whether he was worth the money someone is about to pay him or not. I just hope that "someone" is not the Raptors.
