Probably....Jack that rumor that Doug posted said July 3rd was the date LBJ would sign with us.

Tomorrow is that day.

As I said, that person said July 3rd because they thought all meetings would be over by then, it wasn't an official date. He just said he'd make sure to interview everyone as a courtesy then announce he'd sign with the Bulls and figured it'd be July 3rd. So far, it does kind of look like that's what's happening.

Bulls are slated to present last which, to me, confirms their status as front runners. Whether or not it eventually goes down, I think LeBron was leaning Bulls when the whole process started. It's now up to Bulls management to make sure he's leaning htat way when it ends.

Will Boozer anally violate both the Paxson brothers?

I hope not.

So if Boozer signs, does it pretty much guarantee that James isn't coming here?

I prefer Lee, but if LBJ is OK with Boozer, his approval is all that actually matters.

So how would this work, straight up signing or S&T for JJ?

I wonder if LeBron still likes Boozer after he deserted Cleveland a couple of years back.

Based on all the news coming out, this is exactly what I envisaged was going on.

The Bosh+Wade distraction seems to be thrown by the wayside by our FO.

Boozer is playoff tested, and a proven track record, albeit it includes some injuries.

His *career* PER is over 20 which is just, excellent.

He turns 29 in November I think.

Look at this point, just knowing Booz would come here brings me hope. I'd been feeling all gloomsday all day.

He's also a terrible defensive player, but look, if it gets us James then all is well.

Thanks Doug. So maybe we will hear something tomorrow or Sunday, which also fits nicely into the "decision by Monday" scenario.

Good luck to us!

Nice to know we have this as a fallback, but I still want Bosh bad, and I'm not convinced Bosh-to-Miami is a done deal.
