Boozer gets owned against the top competition. Lee doesn't. Advantage Lee.

So if Joakim also gets better, wouldn't that mean that the difference would be similar afterwards?

I guess that's not the point, but eh. I'd rather have Boozer, as injury prone as he is.

Lee - 8.9 defensive rebounds per game (#2 in the league), 2.8 offensive rebounds per game (#13)
Amare - 8.9 total rebounds per game

Christ! On defense, Lee can't carry Noah's jock!

Most of my problem with your post was that you called Lee a "white Noah." Sorry, but that's just stupid on several levels. They're both good rebounders and work hard, but that's where the similarities end. It's silly.
Until the actual truth is more important to you than what you believe, you will never recognize the truth.

Well, you just brought up two pretty important things where they are similar. So I think that it does carry some water...

Lee though is an ok player dont get me wrong, but if boozer is dictated and healthy he's better and more dominate and what we've been cry for the last 7 yrs. Without a post threat, for all the things D. Lee does we was better off keeping tyrus/taj and letting them split the time.

You clear cap space to get dominate players and game changers boozer is one of those type players when healthy lee is not but is a nice role player to a team.

Fair enough. Like I said, I'd be happy with any of these PF's. I'm certainly not against Boozer. I guess the one point where we differ is that i view Lee as a major upgrade over Taj/Tyrus. But it's all good, we're all entitled to our opinion. Everyone here wants the Bulls to win and get better. This free agency thing has been driving us all crazy.

Based on the pieces already in place here and going off the assumption that LeBron will come to Chi-Town, Lee would be a very good option. He can play pick and pop on offense, he rebounds like a madman, he hustles, and he wont have the burdens of being a teams no.1 option and will be relegated to a more suitable role for him, the 3rd option. Also, since he will be moving back to the 4, his defense wouldn't be as bad as he wouldn't be forced to play opposing 5's as much. Additionally, he will have good defensive bigs (Gibson and Noah) covering for him not to mention a coach who has penchant for strong defense in Tom Thibodeau so he will definitely get some good coaching on that side of the ball.
