As such, it puts a ton of pressure on Lebron to commit to the Bulls right away.

As of right now, I'd say the Bulls are in the poll position.

This must be heartbreaking for Miami, 24 hours ago they were thinking LeBron joining Wade in Miami, and now the possibility of not even having Wade! Incredible.

Tell me about it lol

Why do I get the feeling that KC is wrong about everything and completely out of the loop?

But at the end of the day, no one has signed here. I fear the longer we wait, the more likely Wade and Bron are to resigning at home and Bosh going to Miami. Realistically, Lebron is not going to sign immediately after our pitch. What's the deal guys?

None of the big three(or Boozer or Johnson) has committed ANYWHERE yet. They are all waiting for each other.

to be honest, I dont think officially Amare has committed either. i heard several reports that parameters of a max deal have been worked out. but i have never heard he officially committed.

I'm surprised these all-star free-agents needed pitches to make up their minds. Surely they have a favorite team already that'd prefer to sign with, at least one of them must have already had a definitive favorite. I wonder if they're just 'humoring' each team this whole time or if they really are this indecisive.

Unless the Bulls are able to clear enough cap space to offer two maximum contracts, two league executives downplayed the scenario of Bosh and either James or Wade taking less money to join the Bulls in tandem.

League sources said the Bulls were continuing efforts to clear more cap space by offering James Johnson for draft picks to virtually any team. And Luol Deng continues to be dangled to little interest because of the four years and $52 million remaining on his deal.

Also, if the Knicks had any hope for LBJ (they dont) this screws over one of their selling points haha.

(Think bigger...) They are saving 1.7 mil and turning deng's contract into 2 expiring deals that can be used as trade bait NOW in S&Ts for the big 3.

Everybody's waiting on the Capo Lebron to make a choice. He's the only one not talking. When he moves, everybody else will scatter like roaches.
Luol Deng's contract is a cancer eating at the Bulls.

Little interest for Deng? There was at least one good offer, Portland makes two. They could have already traded him, how's that for little interest.

Good reporting. ;)

I think it's sort of like the penultimate scene the "The Good, the Bad, and the Ugly" where all three guys are eyeing each other, waiting for the right time to draw (or for someone else to draw).
