We could use a 3rd PG

I don't mind Miller, but hopefully not for the full MLE. Other than Haywood, there isnt a C that is worth the MLE, and most of our position is already set.

I'm voting "Bonzi As A Metaphor". Don't sign somebody just because the cash is burning a hole in your pocket.

Somebody's going to be the last girl left not dancing when the music stops. Somebody's going to turn his nose up at a generous offer and be left out in the wind, late in the offseason. It ALWAYS happens. And as it would happen, with PiddyPat, Scola, and Lowry signing, the Rox will be at 14.

So it'd be smart to keep an open roster spot available, should the chance to steal a player present itself.

Then again...with my luck, the last girl left standing will be T-Mac. Fail.

I would gladly welcome Fisher for two years 10 mil. If it meant stabbing the Lakers in the heart.
Then using the rest of the MLE on Brad Miller.

Rockets should focus on trying to take a key player from the Lakers every year as they are the biggest obstacle in our way at the moment until Kobe retires in a few years and the Thunder take the reigns.

Rockets should try to get 3 deep at every position, buying out Andersen and then swinging a trade midseason for a Granger type player. Whatever they lose at least we'd still be two deep at every position. Don't like the idea of losing Ariza and Battier for Bosh

Brooks/Lowry/(Fisher, Foye, Felton)
Martin/Budinger/Taylor
Ariza/Battier/Jeffries
Scola/Patterson/Hayes
Yao/Miller/Hill

You only get to steal Gasol one time. That's kind of a rule.

And as for Mr. Fisher?

(I was going to open with "I hope he gets his kid's eye cancer"), but that might be a tad harsh. So in lieu of that, here is my objection, in 3 parts:

- He played for Utah. (After that point, I don't really need any more points, do I?)
- He's a punk a55 son of a wh0re who NOW plays for the Lakers.
- He's slow.

#3 should suffice.

Well said Ribalding.

Right now the focus should be on adding a superstar talent without overpaying for it. If that doesn't work, we'll have to resign Scola and Lowry. Only then, should we consider dirtbags like Derek Fisher (when all the good assets are gone).

Ok, can one of you please clarify for me... other than playing for the L*kers and Utah, how is Fisher a dirtbag whore?

Understandably, that's almost enough to answer my question already. Just wondering if there's anything else.

Don't forget that he's a world-class flopper.
