I never believed for one minute the KNICKS dropped the ball and botched their presentation. They've been preparing it too long for that to happen. But I guess haters are gonna hate.

I'm glad they decided to put this story out and end the bad speculation. I like the Soprano's angle, and Chris Rock and others appearing via video. But mainly the Mike D presentation should have sealed it.

i believe i heard michael kay say someone sent him a text message, telling him 4 people from the knicks organization and 2 other people were in the room at the time. whether it was maverick carter and lebron or leon rose and lebron or if it were 2 people with lebron, i have no idea.

No chance in hell. This city is full of hang-arounds and entourage people. Nobody gives a **** about those guys.

I would be pretty sure you've heard wrong, the story has been Lebron + Leon + Mav the whole time, and that's how it was supposed to be for all his meetings. I would love for Lebron to cut Maverick out of the loop, but I can't see that happening.

i mean your best friend has you making millions by working for him doing what any person with half a brain could probably handle and yet you try to manipulate him for your own benefit

You'll find that if you ever become 1) rich 2) famous or 3) both of the above finding true friends is hard, and people who used to be true friends will turn sour.

On top of that, Maverick actually used to the basketball star in Akron, Lebron only took over in their teenage years. I wouldn't be surprised if Maverick feels like Lebron owes him.

I don't get why Maverick is so insecure about this whole thing, they can absolutely kill it in NYC and probably make double they would anywhere else, bigger piece of the pie for him, id urge Lebron to sign here July 8th if I were that idiot.

I don't think it's Carter, mainly because Woj, who broke the story, has written like 3-4 pieces already about how much he hates LeBron's lackeys for controlling the NBA like a puppet. There is no way either Carter or WWW is Woj's source.

My guess is someone close to Pat Riley or Prokhorov, if someone is actually sabotaging the Knicks. My guess is the Nets are trying to undermine the Knicks. Hell, they already have a billboard over MSG.

Lebron + Maverick + Leon would be 3, you said there were 2 people who weren't Knicks. It wasn't meant as an attack on you, so if I misunderstood what you meant, my apologies. My only point was that I really don't think Mav is out of the loop by any stretch, and Leon is of course always there.

Lebron doesn't know anything about this I bet. I can't imagine he's even watching ESPN these days, and he's certainly not digging around the web to see what is written about him.

As for helping his cause, I don't see why this would make any difference. No matter how many flaming hoops he'd make us jump through, we're all going to be ecstatic if he actually signs for us.

its definitely feasible or it could just be Woj, who has gone to every length to kill us for a while now, even if it costs him his professional integrity
