I think RJ has slowly developed into one of the worst players in the league. People usually take offense to such statements because there are guys like Scalabrene and Brian Cardinal or Mark Madsen. But thats not what i mean when i call him the worst, the difference is that those guys dont even play, the damage they do to their teams is less then what a guy like RJ does. He is the worst player like Antoine Walker used to be the worst player.

RJ used to be a team guy, athletic wing finisher that ran the break and played solid defense. Later developed a bit of a jumper which was nice. And then it went to his head and he became a #1 option in his head. Its not that he didn't fit on the Spurs, he doesn't fit anywhere anymore because he contributes nothing to a team except scoring, and he is not even good at it. He is a more efficient Adam Morrison, he is what CDR is when given minutes. Not sure how you feel about CDR these days, but thats what RJ. He is a guy who can not play within the flow of the game, he can't get his shots within a team concept and thats why he fits nowhere. He needs the ball in his hands so he can do his pull up Js all game and score 20 points. If he does try to play within the team (like CDR) he is borderline useless on the court because he does not do the little things any more. He used to, but not anymore. I wouldn't want him for free.

I disagree.
Lee can still play successfully within a team concept if he was on a good team with a proper lineup, if he is well coached and given a correct role, he will execute that and his defense is borderline smothering, which you kind of write off as no big deal.
And all this is coming from me, one of Lee's biggest critics through about two thirds of last season.

Spurs will bring Splitter for the MLE.

RJ should have a pre arranged deal to come back for less but for more years to help spurs in luxury tax.

Sorry but you didn't see my post explaining that exact same thing??? Not hating on nets fans just don't get why people repeat posts. Just do what we all do and that is to agree.
