I agree AND how many times did we look BETTER with Amare on the bench. I think our defense will actually be way better, because Amare's lack of focus was contagious at times. I want to trade LB for a 1st round pick. I think it will happen after the big FA's sign and they need filler's on their roster.

1st unit
Nash
Jrich
Hill
Warrick
Lopez

2nd unit
Dragic
Dudley
Clark
Gani
Frye

Big unit
Dragic 6'4
Hill 6'8
Clark 6'10
Frye 6'11
Lopez 7'0

Our finishing unit
Nash
JRich
Duds
Frye
Lopez

We have so many options, plus we can just keep LB too.

I'm not trippin. We can still beat any West team as of now. The West is not getting any better.

4 or 5 seed....Easy 8-)

I think you are right. For all of the doubters, look at WCF gm 4 and watch our BENCH against the Lakers starters in the 2nd and 4th qts. Also, watch our bench against the mighty Spurs in gm 3 of the 4th qt. :D

I hate to admit it, but I think we will have to move Clark to the 4 for a year or two. BTW, how many of you guys would like to have Yi here instead of Warrick? :(

Our players at the time had high morale. Now with Stoudemire gone, the morale will be lowered. Not because he's gone, but because the owner doesn't seem to care about winning.

Hopefully we will manage to surprise anyone, including me. Until the season starts, my fingers are still crossed.

i agree with that, there were games when amare sat out at the end and the team played great, and our bench are great closers

46 wins, and miss the playoffs.

Clark and Warrick are terrible. When either one of the is on the court, we will typically get killed. Clark will be the first one to get benched, and depending on who our vet min additions are, Warrick could be soon to follow. Indeed, Warrick's minutes should continue to decline over the course of the season.

Gani Lawal provides a pleasant surprise, providing rebounding, hustle, grit, and defense. Over the course of the season his minutes will increase at the expense of Warrick and Clark.

Nash / Hill may get moved for cap space and draft picks at the all star break. Barbosa will be shopped throughout the year, with no takers.

I don't think we are done dealing yet. I am not sold on what "insiders" on the TV have to say about it. They are wrong 90% of the time.

Hakim Warrick bulks up over the off season and becomes a LeBron James clone. Suns finish first.

I agree. I think record will be at best 45-47 wins which would likely mean no playoffs.

 Wow, people are very optimistic after losing one of the best PF's in the game. Its laughable to see what people think we are going to do. Reason why we finished so high in the west this year was because of Amares play. I dont think he will lead us to a championship, but you are not going to be a better team without him.

This is how I see it.

Suns start off just above .500 ball and nash does not want to end his career being overplayed and not competing. Hill walks or retires. Suns trade nash for a pick to a contending team. This team finishes behind both the lakers and clips, just above the kings and warriors in the pacific. The only teams we are better than is GSW, Kings and t-wolves in the west.

The best part is, we win the #1 pick in the lottery. We take Harrison Barnes! Damn Straight fool!

If the Suns do trade Nash they better package Frye with him.

Going to be brutal watching Lopez/Frye/Warrick go up against the likes of Gasol/Bynum, Kaman/Griffin/Jordan, Cousins/Landry/Thompson, Beans/Randolph/Udoh...that's just in the division alone

Geez guys....... I was one of the biggest Stat supporters around but I don't see all the doom and gloom that you guys see. Yes Amare was one of the best performers in the league individually after the all star break, but our success was based on team play most notably our bench. There were many games were our bench won us the game, either buy coming from behind or breaking away from a tied game. There were many games that our bench played the entire 4th and sometimes much of the 3rd as well. None of that was due to Amare. We play TEAM ball, we are a good team because we have large variety of ways we can score. We were not totally dependent on Amare's game, granted when Amare was on the floor they had to double team him which did open up outside shots but that was just one of many ways we scored.

I am not saying that we are automatically going to be as good as last year, but we can be if everybody continues to progress in their developement. A lot of you want to bash on Warrick, and I know he is no Amare, yet, but he is a strong finisher, very athletic, long arms and very aggressive going to the rim. He has never played on an uptempo team that likes to run and get out on the fastbreak. In our system he has the ability to become a really good player. There are a lot players that never get the opportunity to play on a team that best suits their skills, Warrick has that chance with us.

You also have to think all of our young players are going to come back even more confident in their skills and will continue to improve. Players like Dragic, Dudley, Lopez, and yes even Clark who has put on 15 lbs of muscle this off season making him the same size as Amare with better defense and ball handling. He will be given the opportunity to show what he can do in the summer league and the pre-season, I think he will surprise a lot of people.

our bench was extremely good at making comebacks being down double digits, especially in the playoffs
